This movie was first shown on USA television Sunday, January 21, 1940 on New York City's pioneer, and still experimental television station W2XBS, which would not be granted full time commercial status until 29 June 1941 as WNBT (Channel 1). This telecast took place barely one year after its initial USA theatrical release, which took place 6 February 1939. Post World War II televiewers got their first look at it in New York City Saturday, December 18, 1948 on WATV (Channel 13).
Combined with "Mademoiselle ma mere", now re-titled "The Virgin Bride", this movie was widely shown in the U.S. aimed at the exploitation trade, but, in reality, a big disappointment to voyeurs, because it's actually quite innocent.
