(1934) The stars of The Champ reunite for this rousing adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s pirate adventure, with Jackie Cooper as Jim Hawkins, a cabin boy on a treasure-hunting ship, and Wallace Beery as the notorious, one-legged pirate Long John Silver, who sneaks aboard as the cook. Adventure movie veteran Victor Fleming directs and Lionel Barrymore, Otto Kruger, Lewis Stone, and Nigel Bruce costar.
