During the making of this film, Bebe Daniels began searching around for a new contract. Pathe Distributors was willing to offer her $300 per week for her to stay on with Hal Roach, but she turned it down and halved her salary to become a dramatic actress with Cecil B. DeMille at Famous Players Lasky.
