It was shot entirely with two helmet cameras mounted side-by-side to give a stereoscopic effect (depth perception). This movie was created (with some technical support) from start to finish by Gunnar Newquist. Gunnar developed the 3D helmet camera set up, skied the terrain, edited the video, and recorded the soundtrack of Ernesto Lecuona's 'Malaguena' on his home piano.

When the chair stops, they have to get whichever haircut their head was pointing to. There are six haircuts they can get. Teams would advance to the finals if both members got their designated haircuts. In the finale a crane lifts a large container to 200 feet in the air, both team members have to climb rope ladders hanging from the container. Once they reach the container, they both have to scale a narrow ledge on the side, collect two Allen wrenches, and climb another ladder to the top. Once on top, they have to use the wrenches to unscrew hatches and climb down into the container. When they were both inside, they have to touch two pieces of a live wire together in order to blow themselves out of the container and into the water below. The team to complete this stunt the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champions at winning $50,000. This week competing in the Home Invasion is the Frederickson family of Hagerstown, Maryland.

No one would be eliminated. The final stunt is a real drag. Team members hanging on to handlebars attached to a helicopter and are dragged across pavement on their stomachs. They have to let go as close to the finish line as possible. The team to get the least combined distance from the finish line would win $50K. The home invasion stunt goes to Dubuque, Iowa.

Once in the water, they would have to retrieve a flag from underneath the buoy, swim with it to a platform, and clip it on a flagpole. Stunt two has them slug it out as they have to eat 10 live slugs and drink a shot of cow bile. For the final, contestants have to build a bridge on two cables from the top of one building to another and climb across the wooden slats provided moving them along the way. The contestant across the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champion and win $50K.
