- Marking the 75th anniversary of his birth, Shotaro Ishinomori's classic spy heroine manga "009-1" has been adapted into a live-action motion picture for the first time ever.
- Professional killer Ken (Hirofumi Arai) is trying to break away from the yakuza. Taking up work at a local motorcycle shop, he forges a new life under the motherly eye of Yoko (Jun Fubuki), an older woman who owns the shop. - Jozaburo Araki is the head of a famous family-owned wholesale pharmaceutical store with a well-established history. At present he is the Minister of Health and Welfare, and is considering submission of a Bill to hold population increase in check, in an attempt to easily deal with Opposition accusations regarding the population problem. However, just when he is in the Diet giving a major policy speech to the Welfare Ministry Committee about decreasing the population, Ranko, his 48-year-old wife, heads to a maternity clinic and discovers that she is pregnant. Also, the Araki family's young daughter, Sakura, has become pregnant with her fiancé before their upcoming marriage, and even the retired patron of the family, Jozo, 2 presents yet another possibility of a pregnancy with his much younger mistress. Furthermore, Jozaburo visits Kyoto on an election campaign and is astounded to learn of the existence of his own love-child with his former lover, Some Kaida! As if that's not enough trouble, the Araki family finds that even their maid, Oteru, and their business manager, Yamaguchi, have somehow also ended up with their own 'Burden of Love.' And that is how the population explosion in the household of the Minister of Health and Welfare somehow becomes a factor in the future of Japan...
- Patronized by a gang ruling the city, Mako delinquently plays around a night club every night with her bad company. One night, a guy Hideo gets closer to her for one-night stand, and they consequently fall in love. However, Hideo is killed by the gang. Mako swears vengeance on his beloved's murderer.

Surprisingly, the actor who rapes her in the film is Akira who's been hired for a small amount of money. A few days later, the money lender dies in an accident and Tsuyu takes over his wealth. Becoming rich overnight, she returns to her native village. But the reality that her mother's lover, a lecherous monk, is violating her innocent younger sister, outrages her. She lures the monk away to a sheer cliff with malice aforethought.

This is a remake of a film first produced in 1971 by Shogoro Nishimura.

- Nursing student Asuka (Atsuko Maeda) has just moved into an apartment complex with her parents and younger brother. On the first night in her new room, she is awoken by a strange scratching sound coming from the apartment of her neighbor, a reclusive old man who has refused all attempts at communication. Concerned over his well being, Asuka enters his home only to find him dead from malnutrition. Worse, it looks as if he had been trying to claw his way into her room. Asuka learns that there have been a number of strange deaths in the complex over the years from Shinobu (Hiroki Narimiya), the handyman cleaning up the old man's apartment. Even the girls at school whisper rumors of it being haunted. When the late night scratching returns, Asuka ventures back into her neighbor's home and comes face to face with an apparition of the old man! Panicked by the discovery of her apartment emptied and her family gone, Asuka seeks help from Shinobu, who brings in a spiritualist to exorcise Asuka of the evil surrounding her. However, as she delves into the girl's predicament, the spiritualist discovers that signs points not to the old man but to a small boy living in the complex with a past as tragic as the one Asuka herself lives in denial of.

- A group of burglars in black tights breaks into a church to commit robbery and commits outrages upon the pastor's young daughter. After some time, Detective Harada and his squad rush/came back to the church they robbed earlier. In the duty station, the police chief informs Harada that his ex-colleague, Nakamura, has escaped from a mental hospital where he had been hospitalized for insanity. Harada and his partner, Kato, are assigned to pursue Nakamura on the run. If Nakamura's insanity turns out to be false, the cop buddies must terminate him and masquerade it as self-defense.

The moment they find the oasis within. Finally, Touko begins to walk again with lightened steps toward a new beginning of everyday life in Tokyo.
- Momoko is a taxi driver with a bad sales record. She and her co-worker Ranko try to project their sexual attractions to gain customers. - Ishikawa, a newspaper journalist, unexpectedly meets Asako, a woman who used to work for his company some time ago as a phone operator. A few days later, Hamazaki is found dead in a rain-soaked coalfield; her husband is kept in police custody as the primary suspect. Ishikawa tries to help Asako and launches his own investigation. - One summer morning, Kiyoshi (Shosuke Hirose) is racing on his bike down the beach. While there, a girl with her clothes torn up is thrown out from a green convertible. This is how he and Sanae (Teresa Noda) first meet. A little while later Sanae's sister comes to pay Kiyoshi a visit, falsely claiming that he participated in her sister's rape. When she shoves him into a car with intentions to hand him over to the police, Kiyoshi finally snaps.
