- Partisans in Yugoslavia clash with the Germans that have invaded their homeland in several confrontations until the climactic battle at Hell River.
- Uzice Republic, also known as the "first offensive" is a story about Serbia in 1941 and monitors the emergence and decline of the Uzice Republic. A few months after the German Wehrmacht forced the Yugoslav Royal Army to capitulate in April War, Boro, a Spanish soldier and hardened Communist, is tasked to organize an uprising in western Serbia. Organized resistance is turning into a massive uprising against the occupying forces. Partisans, led by the Communist party, manage to chase the Germans from a huge territory, later known as the Uzice Republic. People gather around the partisans and were soon freed from Bajina Basta, Pozega, Uzice, and Cacak. Supreme headquarters of the partisan army comes to the liberated territory. However, forces loyal to the king have some other ideas. Uzice Republic lasted only 67 days, from 24 September to 29 November 1941, when a bloody and tragic battle on Kadinjaca occurred and the entire labor battalion, fell into the hands of the Wehrmacht and the Chetniks, so the partisans, supreme headquarters, and the people had to retreat to the Sandzak.
- After issued Chetniks and destruction to make an agreement between the Partisans and the Chetniks, a partisan unit angry about betrayal, deception is being broken. A one broken group of partisans unwittingly sabotage draws to the attention of the Chetniks, and the Italians who, instead-prepared attack on the headquarters of the Supreme People's Liberation Struggle, entering into a bloody campaign against the wounded, hungry and poorly armed partisans hidden by the dugout. In that hell, everyone becomes a hunted beast, and the beast that persecuted. In the chaos of destruction, in the wilderness, in the midst of the rampage of death, gives birth to son wounded Partisans, a symbol of triumph of life.
- DJ from a small town plans to organize a great artistic happening. His plans coincide with those by local bigwigs who desperately want to promote a local food company.
- The phenomenon of tourism arrives to a remote village. A married couple sells their property to open a motel, which would be a starting point for their daughter Andjelija's singing career. The local radio-amateur (and Andjelija's boyfriend) helps them to achieve these goals, but Andjelija is more interested in her love life than her career.
- Suddenly arriving in Serbia, DUNJA (older daughter) initiates a joint journey with JOVANA (mother) and JASNA (younger sister) to a father who lives alone in the cottage. DUNJA and JASNA are convinced that the father had abandoned their mother because of the affair with another woman. By exchanging their impressions of his action, they remember the past and reveal the intentions and expectations of a meeting. DUNJA treats this affair as a mistake, a product of father's crisis, and hopes the visit could reunite family, while JASNA has accepted the parent's divorce as a final. During daughters arguing and under the pressure, the mother reveals there was no adultery. She simply never loved their father. When they arrive at the cottage, instead of finding the father, the three of them go out to a nearby clearing. Finally, they find peace within each other.
