Now Katya learns to relax the rules, Zeke, Rachel and guest Summer get on like a house on fire. Lyn is implicitly told her grandmother role is not to be exceeded.
- Zeke nearly skipped school fearing his shaving cuts and skin reaction really make him look like a freak, but changes his mind after joining in Susan's happiness to have Katya back home and hearing Rachel admit Karl isn't bad after he stuck up for her and Stingray and she too wants to stay in the family again, even if that includes Karl. Boyd tells about Toadie nude and Rachel's return to Stingray, who fears she didn't tell him because he supposedly treats her as immature but assures Boyd Janae won't stay hospital cleaner long once she had to deal with icky stuff, in fact she even tells patient Harold she can't stand sick people and brags to a nurse she expects respect as wife of a future doctor, thus adding poor Boyd to the annoyed persons list. Karl finds out homeless Izzy slept in his house after bringing him home, then is surprised in the nude by Rach who makes up, next asks worried Scott for 'time alone', he and Zeke console each-other.
- Ned grumbles singing again spoiled his anger, so he doesn't write nearly enough parking tickets anymore. Boyd and Bree embrace the idea, but Janae says the fickle couple won't last a week. Susan already had it hard now Rachel wants much more freedom then her late dad allowed, while Susan wants them raised his way, but then Katya returns, telling Susan she wants the lead in her younger siblings' education, proves an insubordinate bitch in Karl's surgery and then says 'his reputation' makes him unfit to help Zeke with aphasia, which he would only want to do because he wants Susan back. Next morning is Valentines day; Boyd gives Janae romantic red roses, and Kim goes surfing- but with Janelle, not Dylan; alas her fat body gets stuck in the lean boy's wetsuit, which lands her in ER.

Jane gets family support now her tests results are due, and from Boyd who realizes if she's positive, he's at risk too, and Karl confirms he should get tested but could suffer medical practice restrictions if not negative. Sky drowns Dylan's potential jealousy towards Ned's character in real-life kisses. When Kim asks Janelle about her fidelity, inspired by Bree's new version of the novel's ending after an idea by Sky, Janelle denies but Janae gives her heaps as cheap tart hypocrite and worst example. Even a loving phone-call to daughter Summer can't calm Max's despair while Boyd keeps the bar afloat.

Janelle, Bree and Janae find Scotty and finally try to behave like supportive mother and sisters, assisted by Salvo Harold and Rachel's tough love for the baby's sake, but it's too much of a cacophony for the father-to-be, who now tells them the truth, they always were nothing but disloyal trouble, even Harold shares in his scorn, then the Timmins bond naturally returns- or not, Stingray escapes trough the back-door. Mishka feels abandoned by Lou and intends to leave for good, he assures her he just gave Janelle a warm goodbye. Unsettled Sky gets violent cramps in the park and is rushed to hospital with Karl; jealous Teresa rages she's unfit for motherhood.
- Karl and Harod try to reassure people, but after the fire everyone fears Sky's baby Kerry is kidnapped, especially when Teresa is reported missing. After Will made sure badly hurt Carmella's story is heard, Senior Sergeant Steiger starts a full police investigation. Teresa is seen pushing an empty pram and questioned as arson and kidnapping suspect, but maintains not to know Kerry's whereabouts. Steiger now focuses on Stingray, also on both counts, given the security video recordings and a row with Karl. Rachel and Bree find Scotty passed-out in the park.
- Thod Dongoes' Aussie football practice impresses the girls, but the star player, Fitzy, gets wounded. Lou is found in the shop and hospitalized after a fight/stress-induced heart attack but rejects Karl's reassuring diagnosis. This is astutely changed to having a heart condition hoping to make worried Harold stay. Paul is told Kirsten's price: a safe future. Rebecca's risks seem to pay off.
- Sky realizes Dylan feels so paternal that he stole Kerry, even wants a DNA test and since Karl can't be 100% sure without Sky accepts after telling Scotty it was from his arms Dylan took the baby, for her good. Stingray doesn't join the Melbourne Cup hat day at the pub to avoid alcohol-exposure, nearly everybody else drinks and bets, so Will and Elle serve. During a pub date with Harold, Loris gets a divorce procedure from her husband Alwyn he wants to remarry, they clearly feel even closer and actually kiss on her doorstep.

Mikey is in heaven with Steve's furry patients. Miranda fears his bookkeeping mess may wreck their hope for bank financing the house. Angus is offered a full-time position and gives Rachel a present. Fitzy is offered Carmella's room in Frazer's place.
- Declan has told Fitzy that Rachel is Angus' girlfriend, but Didge and Angus deny it so the honest boy becomes a grilled suspect himself. Rosie tries to make Carmella understand that letting Marco go is a colossal error, this strategy fails with Marco too. Karl tries to bring Oliver to visit with Richard (who is dying), but overheard by Paul he moves out.
- Karl is sworn to secrecy by dying Richard. Paul knows, but believes Rebbecca is better off not knowing. Oliver and Declan find out he's in another hospital and find him. Oliver emotionally blackmails his dying dad to confront his mother. Zeke tries to console both Susan and Rachel, but she is desperate and furious that her love is completely ignored as an 'abuse crime'. Janae is touched that Ned lets Mikey play grease-monkey with her, and that the boy wants her back in their daily lives.
- Emotional blackmail makes Declan attend his father Richard's funeral anyway, where the school praises the late inspiring leader, while the family comes for closure only. Susan finally manages to make Angus lie to Rachel, who refuses to be treated as an immature lover, to say that he 'never loved her'. Now Elle has dumped Riley, they rival professionally without mercy.

Paul makes Brad put her on indefinite leave.
- Best man Frazer gets the wedding back on track. Paul fears his evil side may return with his memory. Justin's jealous disappointment his parents don't bother to come to school after a fight with Rachel makes her realize how lucky she is. Susan's pride prevents her from accepting the cane Karl recommends until she collapses at school and Fitzy carries her home.
- Paul realises what he's risking by having an affair with Kirsten. Meanwhile, Rebecca's desire for justice threatens the class action. Then, Marco makes an offer on Harold's house, while Bridget's assumption destroys her friendship with Rachel.
- Zeke and Taylah are getting serious. Snakes make Declan and Ringo loose their cool. Harold understands 'pop' Lou doesn't want to let Mikey down and stays home, even asks Marco to let Lou live with Carmie and him. Libby makes Fitzy break up camp, and makes it hard for him to explain his wife is bipolar, then insists on a divorce first.
- Declan has nightmares but hates psycho-therapy - he feels that it is almost as bad as being banned from visiting Bridget and his mother's fussing makes it worse. - Kirsten's trick succeeded in making Janae look irrational and stirs trouble with Ned. After Mickey slips out of his chest incident, his mean mother demands equal parenting rights and equal time with him. While Rachel seems to find a new friend in Angus, Declan is left watching how Bridget ignores him, dating instead her wheelchair-bound 'coach' Josh. Karl finally tells the twins that Susan has MS, but she's just in the manageable early stages. Secretly bankrupt Valda sells all.
- Ned tells Janae the other parkers won't have her as unmarried house deal partner, she takes that as betrayal and has a wining session with fellow scorned-step-parent Darren, seen comfort-hugging by Kirsten. The kids and undercover reports enjoy the illegal dance, despite pitiful facilities and confusion who is how close with whom. Rachel however cares only for Angus, even found-out. Then it happens...
