- A found footage film set in the South African wild, where animals and poachers rule. A Young Zulu girl, Mbali, meets an American tourist group on safari. The group enter uncharted hunting grounds where they are forced to face the untamed wild.
- Believing he has killed a policeman,a young Ducktail* finds sanctuary on a farm, where he pretends to be the long-lost son of the blind farmer. The impostor blackmails the family into silence, knowing that their real son is in jail - and that if he reveals the truth, it will kill the farmer. *Ducktails: "a white youth gang subculture which emerged within post Second World War South Africa. Rebellious, hedonistic, apolitical and showing little respect for the law, education or work"
- The film follows the exploits of restless youth Andre Burger after the death of his mother. He tries to reform his erroneous ways but the gang catches up with him and Andre gets involved with a drinking, dicing, cannabis-smoking couple who lead him further astray. He seduces a girl and then dodges the consequences. He steals the money from his ducktail friends and they seek revenge. (Ducktails: "a white youth gang subculture which emerged within post Second World War South Africa. They were rebellious, hedonistic, apolitical and showed little respect for the law, education or work").
- Gordon Vorster returns to familiar territory--'Basie' is similar in many respects to his earlier film 'Die Vlugteling' (1960). This time around, a young ducktail unwittingly kidnaps a young bride and then falls in love with her. (Ducktails: a white youth-gang subculture which emerged within post-Second World War South Africa. They were rebellious, hedonistic, apolitical, and showing little respect for the law, education or work).
