Gary McLarty was born on January 16, 1941 as Gary Raymond McLarty. In his youth Gary lived at the McKinley Home for Boys in Los Angeles. He was there during the filming of East of Eden (1955) starring James Dean. He worked as an extra. He is known for his work on The Blues Brothers (1980), Beverly Hills Cop (1984), and Jurassic Park (1993). The tragedy plagued Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) found Gary in the helicopter that fired the blank shots which resulted in three fatalities when things went wrong on the ground. In 2001 Gary testified in court that he turned down Robert Blake's offer to kill Blake's wife, Bonnie Lee Bakley. He died on October 11, 2014 when a pickup truck driven by fellow stuntman Bob Orrison making a U-turn was broadsided by a Jeep Cherokee in Rancho Cordova, California, USA. Both stuntmen were killed instantly. The two persons in the Jeep Cherokee were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.- Actor

Augie Johnson is the founder and leader of the group "Side Effect" who was formed in Los Angeles, California, May 1972, which in later years was known to become Augie's Side Effect. Augie had been singing since childhood. He had the opportunity to be among the Robert Mitchell Boys Choir who sang on Frank Sinatra's hit 'High Hopes" in 1959, and even had the opportunity to sing at Marilyn Monroe's last public appearance June 1, 1962, at Dodger Stadium. Augie was also one of the Doodletown Pipers between the 1960's and 1970's, whom made numerous appearances on network television such as their first appearance being on "The Red Skelton Show" and thereafter, "The Ed Sullivan Show." As one of the Doodletown Pipers, Augie had the opportunity to work with such luminaries as Count Basie, The Carpenters, Perry Como, Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Frank Gorshin, Alan King, Mike Post, Sarah Vaughan, John Wayne, and Rowan and Martin. After a two year stint in the U.S. Army, Augie was demobbed from an entertainment officer. Once Augie returned to Los Angeles he devoted himself to his music and throughout the years provided us with some funky tunes like S.O.S, Always There, Going Banana's, Rainbow Vision, Take A Chance, and the latest release off the 2010 CD "About Time." Augie and his band members have worked with superstars such as Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand, Johnny Mathis, The Temptations, Gloria Trevi, Elton John, Bette Midler, Barry Manilow, Lance Bass of *NSYNC, Warren G "Midnight Hour" and a host of others. Sadly Augie passed away on October 11, 2014, at the age of 66, unexpectedly. Augie was a Man who Befriended many who were in need. He always had words of good Cheer, always ready to put a Smile on someone's face, and always ready to sing and light up the room. Augie's legacy will continue to live on through his music. Bob Orrison was born on July 28, 1928 in Bakersfield, California, USA as Robert P. Orrison. As a stuntman he worked on 41 movies from 1968 to 2005. Bob was the stunt double for Audie Murphy and did stunt work in John Wayne movies. He is known for his stunt work on Rambo III (1988) and Die Hard 2 (1990). His stunt work was also done on a regular basis for eleven episodes of Harry O (1974-1975); 144 episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard where he was the stunt driver for the General Lee car (1979-1985); and 72 episodes of the A-Team where he doubled for George Peppard in performing stunts (1983-1986). Orrison also served productions as a stunt coordinator, most notably Deadly Game (1977-1978). He also had seventeen bit actor roles in films and television between the years of 1967 and 2005. Bob was best known for his "background acting" on the original series of Star Trek (1967-1968) He was married to Peggy J. Wyatt and Titiana Orrison. He died on October 11, 2014 when a pickup truck he was driving made a U-turn and was broadsided by a Jeep Cherokee in Rancho Cordova, California, USA. Both Orrison and fellow retired stuntman Gary McLarty, a passenger in the truck, were killed instantly. The two persons in the Jeep Cherokee were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Bob Orrison and Gary McLarty, his best friend, were both Hollywood Hall of Fame stuntmen.
