Lesley Gilb was born on September 6, 1946 in Seattle, Washington. Her parents were Tyrell Thompson Gilb and Corinne Lathrop Gilb. She had a sister named Tyra. Gilb was raised in Berkeley, California. Lesley received a B.A. from the University of California in Berkeley and studied in the Ph.D. program in Dramatic Arts at Stanford University. Gilb made her film debut in the lead role of Lee James in the obscure social drama "The Activist." Lesley achieved her greatest enduring cult cinema popularity with her mesmerizing portrayal of the titular shrewd and seductive backwoods vampiress in the splendidly eerie and atmospheric indie horror winner "Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural." Throughout her rich and varied life Gilb worked as a film producer, production assistant, production manager, story editor, researcher, writer, gallery manager, publisher, teacher, and a passionate and dedicated volunteer with many downtown Los Angeles organizations. An intrepid traveler, she spent a good deal of time in America, Europe, and Morocco. Moreover, Lesley was a longtime resident of Santa Monica who also lived in Ross and Palo Alto in the Northern California Bay Area. She was the mother of son Nicholas and daughter Blythe. On April 13, 2009 Gilb was tragically killed at age 62 in an automobile accident on highway 101 in Los Angeles, California.- Harry Kalas was born on 26 March 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He completed his studies in Milan. After having received his diploma in Humanities, he attended the Faculty of Pure Mathematics at the State University for four years with good results. He specialized in music and choir song in 1944, and graduated in Composition from the Conservatory "G. Verdi" of Milan in 1945. After having fought as a partisan from 1941 to 1945, he studied in depth vocal polyphony in 1947. In the immediate postwar period, he started his musical career as a director of vocal polyphonic groups for various concerts and radio programs of polyphonic music, paying particular attention to the Italians of the XVI and XVII centuries. He moved to Rome in the late forties, and has been extremely busy writing music for cinema and for television. In the field of folk music he studied Italian regional groups, and his transcriptions, from the laudi of the 1200s to the songs of the mountain, belong to the repertory of numerous choirs. Among the most famous are Montagnes Valdotaines and Belle rose du printemps. He has also composed various songs, such as Meravigliose labbra and La canzone del faro, which were quite successful. He taught "Harmony and Counterpoint" in the conservatories of Piacenza, Bologna and L'Aquila; he retired from teaching in 1986. He created for RAI 3 TV a series of 6 episodes, each dedicated to a major contemporary Italian composer, called "Che musica è". He participated in it as Conductor, taking part in debates with the public and presenting various music performed by "Spettro sonoro". At present, he is working on music with computers, programming computers and composing "digital music". He collaborates with the C.R.M. (Center for Music Research) of Rome, creating software for the projects "FLY10" and "FLY30". Among his compositions in this genre we mention Mooning for soprano and c64, Sinite for Fly10 and soprano, and Nomina for Fly30 and soprano. Furthermore, his main compositions include music for theater, for orchestra, chamber music, film music (for films directed by Marco Ferreri and other renowned directors) and music for TV.- Actor

Reza Fazelli graduated with a degree in Religious Philosophy prior to embarking on a career in media that has, to date, spanned 45 years.
Prior to the revolution Fazelli was well established as an actor, director and producer. During the 80s, through his UK based production company, he produced over 50 documentaries which led to the terrorist targeting of his place of business and consequently to his emigration to the United States. His recent autobiography "The Survivor" has been published by "1st Books" and is available in major bookstores.

Julia Blasovits was born in 1917. She is the mother of well known movie producer Donald F. Glut, and sister of Christine E. Dittmeyer (nee Blasovits) and married to Frank C. Glut. In 1939, she bought her boy friend Frank a Keystone 16mm silent movie camera as a Christmas gift. Frank took many home movies using this camera. The camera would later become her son Donald's camera, that Donald would use to make many amateur movies. Julia married Frank on 28 November 1942. In February 1943, he joined the Army Air Corp as a cadet. In September 1943, Julia joined Frank (who was now a Second Lieutenant ) at Tucson Arizona. Frank was later transferred to the United Kingdom. On 3 February 1945, he was the pilot of a B-24 Liberator, flying a mission over Germany, will co-pilot William Lozowski. His plane was hit by flak. Frank & William bailed out, but as they were too close to the ground, their shoots did not open. After the war, The Gluts and the Lozowski remained good friends, with son William Roddy Lozowski appearing in two of Donald's movies - Spy Smasher Vs The Purple Monster (1964) and Dinosaur Valley Girls (1996). Julia help her son Donald with his movies. She would make costumes, do makeup, and was Donald's first camera operator. In an interview on the DVD "I Was a Teenage Movie Maker: Don Glut's Amateur Movies" as recounts the many things that she did to help Donald, and added "that he never paid me". She was also a Member of V.A.V.S committee, Hines Veterans Hospital and Gold Star Wives of America, Second Air division, 8th Air Force. he passed away on 13 April 2009 with the funeral held at St. Andrew Church, with interment St. Joseph.- Writer
