Daisy Earles came to the U.S. from Germany in the early 1920s, joining her brother and sister Harry Earles and Gracie Doll. The three of them, soon joined by sister Tiny Doll, made a handful of appearances in films before retiring from the film business in 1930 in favor of working for the Ringling Brothers Circus. From 1930 until the mid-1950s, the four siblings made very few film appearances (with the exception of The Wizard of Oz (1939) and Daisy's blink-and-you-miss-it shot in Best Picture winner The Greatest Show on Earth (1952)). The four retired in the mid-1950's. Grace died in 1970, Daisy in 1980, and Harry in 1985.- Janine Magnan was born on 25 March 1938 in Paris, France. She was an actress, known for Life Love Death (1969), Le propre de l'homme (1961) and L'amour avec des si (1964). She died on 15 March 1980 in Angers, Maine-et-Loire, France.

For over 50 years, Gordon E. Sawyer served as the Sound Director for Samuel Goldwyn Studios, and later for M.G.M. He was honored with three Oscars for his work on The Bishop's Wife (1947), The Alamo (1960), and West Side Story (1961), and received twelve additional Oscar nominations over the course of his career. The Gordon E. Sawyer Award, named in his honor, is given annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. A lifetime achievement award, it is given to "an individual in the motion picture industry whose technological contributions have brought credit to the industry."- Costume Designer

Sven-Erik Skawonius was born on 31 August 1908 in Stockholm, Sweden. He was a costume designer and production designer, known for Räkna de lyckliga stunderna blott (1944), Vändkorset (1944) and Fadern (1969). He died on 15 March 1980 in Stockholm, Sweden.
