- Brandon Makenzie-Lee Ratcliff was born April 14, 1998 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to James and Tonni Ratcliff. At the young age of just 2 1/2 he watched, studied and memorized word for word everything he saw on television or at the movies and proclaimed that he wanted to be in "TV, Movies and Pictures". At the age of 4 his parents decided to take the big jump and relocate from their home in Highland Park, Illinois and move to Los Angeles. Shortly after arriving in L.A., Brandon was signed with Osbrink Talent Agency and Myrna Lieberman Management and has never looked back! Being a very determined, focused and gregarious child, he adapted very easily to his new surroundings and life. Brandon started to make a name for himself with his expressive faces and tell it like it is, no nonsense old soul wisdom and charm and continues on the path to his dreams.

Composer ("Cow Cow Boogie", "Strange Cargo", "Cuban Sugar Mill", "Riffette"), pianist and band leader, trained at the American Conservatory in Chicago. Originally trained as a drummer, Slack was active in the music business from 1927 and played piano for various bands, before and after moving to the West Coast. He was busy arranging for Ben Pollack and Jimmy Dorsey in the mid- to late 1930's, before making his mark as piano soloist in the short lived (1939-41) orchestra co-led by trombonist Will Bradley and drummer Ray McKinley. Slack was largely instrumental in changing the type of music the band played from ballads and regular swing to boogie-woogie and was featured on its biggest hit, "Beat Me Daddy Eight to the Bar".
In 1941, Slack founded his own orchestra, which attracted a strong following, especially when showcasing vocalist Ella Mae Morse. The band's biggest hit was "Cow Cow Boogie" and he had another with "Mr. Five by Five". A recording contract with the newly-created Capitol label (1942-47) ensured national exposure, as did regular appearances in films like Reveille with Beverly (1943), Follow the Boys (1944) and Seven Days Ashore (1944). After relinquishing his baton as orchestra leader, Slack remained based in California during the 1950's and 60's, albeit as part of a piano duo or trio, appearing in clubs and cocktail lounges. For the last few years of his life, he suffered from diabetes and was found dead in his Hollywood apartment in August 1965, from 'undetermined causes'.- Daniel Mandehr was born on 4 February 1956 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, USA. When school rules precluded sixth graders from being in the school play, Benjamin Zimbric did what any other independent filmmaker would do when presented with an obstacle, he went and made his own movie, "Weekday Warz", anyway. Benjamin has continued from that point to make films whenever the need strikes.
After making films with friends throughout high school, Benjamin felt the need for more knowledge to improve his skill and when presented with the option from his mother ("You can go to any film school you want as long as it's not on the West Coast." The reasons for this ultimatum never being made clear) Benjamin headed out to New York University.
At school, Benjamin was prolific both in academics and extracurricular filmmaking. He took a full course load every semester, worked on the school soundstage to both watch other classes and steal equipment for his movies (he always brought it back, don't worry), and shot a short film every weekend for two and half years (for a total of 30 short films). This workload led to Benjamin graduating in just 3.5 years.
After school Benjamin worked as an equipment manager and then a teacher at The New York Film Academy, then a news videographer for all major networks (ABC, NBC, Fox, etc) and then a camera operator for various reality and narrative television shows. Benjamin has continued his extracurricular film activities throughout, shooting and producing 3 independent television shows, 5 music videos, 6 short films (two getting over 500,000 views on YouTube.com), starting his own short film club (6 shorts produced and shot), two documentary feature films, and 3 narrative feature films, "Synapse", "Wet Behind the Ears" and his latest "Lifehack". "Overcast" is Benjamin's first feature as a writer and director.- Scott Servais was born on 4 June 1967 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, USA.
