Ilean was born in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas (Mexico) and from her early childhood her curiosity and urge to act, sing and dance led her to look for a job at a local TV station as a reporter in a children's show. In 1994 the family moved to Mexico City, where she was contacted by a professional agent, and her parents encouraged her to seek professional education at Televisa's acting school (the most important TV network in Mexico). Her career took off quickly, acting in more than 200 commercials, and a number or telenovelas and films.
In 1995 she landed her first major role in the telenovela "Si Dios me Quita la Vida" (If God Should Take my Life). In 1996 she got her first short film, "Crisalida" (Chrysalis) and in 1997 her first feature film, "Madame Le Consul", which sparked her passion for movies. In 2001 she was cast in her first international project, "In the Time of the Butterflies" and for the first time she considers the possibility of aiming for international projection. The success of the teen telenovela "Atrevete a Soñar" (Dare to Dream) led her to tour in Mexico and abroad. Then in 2016, after filming the telenovela "Nueva Vida" (New Life), Ilean and her husband, the Colombian-born actor Lucas Velazquez, decided to move to Los Angeles to further their careers.
In 2016 she returned briefly to Mexico to film "Requiem por Leona Vicario" and during her time in the United States she has studied to perfect her knowledge of the language, the culture and the acting market. In 2017 she landed her first English-speaking role in the TV series "Stars".- Actor

Irma Serrano first made a name for herself as a singer, becoming one of the most popular ranchera performers of the 1960s. She became famous for her trademark roaring style which earned her the nickname "La Tigresa de la Canción Ranchera" (The Tigress of Ranchera Music). She was born in central Chiapas to Santiago Serrano Ruiz, a local journalist and poet of Mayan ancestry, and María Castro Domínguez, a wealthy woman of Spanish descent who owned 17 haciendas. Raised in the lap of luxury, in her youth she decided to become a performer against her parents' wishes and journeyed to Mexico City, where she made her film debut in Santo vs. the Zombies (1962). Soon after, she signed with CBS Records and began her highly successful singing career. She rose to national prominence with hit songs such as "El puente roto", "Tierra mala", and "La Martina", which reached Billboard's Top Ten list for Mexico. Amparo Montes (born Amparo Meza Cruz) was one of Mexico's most popular bolero singers. She born in Tapachula, Chiapas, to Tirso Esteban Meza Vela and Marina Cruz Grajales. Her father was a judge, and her mother liked to sing. In 1938, the family moved to Mexico City and Amparo found work as a secretary.
Her career began in 1941, when she sang "Altivez" on the XEQ radio program Quiero trabajar. In 1943, she changed her stage name and was hired as a regular performer on XEW, Mexico's top radio station. The following year she released her first recording and sang two songs in the film Nosotros (1945).
In the late 1940s Agustín Lara, Mexico's most famous songwriter, asked her if she could sing with him on his radio program. She accepted and sang two of his songs, "Nadie" and "Limosna". Pleased with Montes' voice and interpretation, Lara said, "No one sings 'Nadie' (no one in Spanish) like Amparo Montes". "Nadie" became one of Montes' greatest hits and signature songs.
Montes went on to record many 78 rpm singles and more than 20 studio albums. She appeared in several films and performed on dozens of radio and television programs. In 1970, she opened her own nightclub, La Cueva de Amparo Montes, where she sang for more than 30 years. She received many awards and was honored by the Government of the City of Mexico before her death in 2002.- Producer
