You'll never catch me wavering on my definition of what's needed for a good movie. The first thing, the most important thing, is a good screenplay. The second thing is good performances. Together, they can cover up a whole lot of problems. So when I read in The Hollywood Reporter that the crime thrilla Bone Deep will star Paul Walker and Hayden Christensen, my first thought was, "Jesus, they better have a really good script."
The pair of actors, neither of whom will soon be mistaken for Olivier, join a cast that already includes Matt Dillon, playing "a hard-boiled detective" and Chris Brown, T.I. and Idris Elba. Walker will play the leader of a group bank robbers whose $20 million get-rich scheme is foiled by Dillon and a wet-behind-the-ears sleuth played by Christensen.
Bone Deep was co-written by its director, John Luessenhop, and is currently in pre-production.

Paul Walker and Hayden Christensen are the latest to join the cast of John Lussenhop’s upcoming thriller “Bone Deep,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In the Screen Gems project, a gang of criminals plan a tricky heist at a money depot. Matt Dillon, Idris Elba, Chris Brown and rapper T.I. (Clifford Joseph Harris Jr.) are already on board.
Walker plays the head of the robbers, while Christensen jumps into the role of a young detective. Dillion stars as the detective who interrupts the criminals' plan.
Christensen most recently starred in "Jumper." He will next be seen in "New York, I Love You." As for Walker, he will next star alongside Vin Diesel in Justin Lin's upcoming action sequel "Fast & Furious."

Two actors in need of a career rennaissance are Paul Walker and Hayden Christensen. Once considered to be two of young Hollywood's hottest properties, both have seen a significant decline in relevance and work. Once the king of the galaxy as young Vader, Christensen has been relegated to the role of that guy who's banging Rachel Bilson, while Walker is running scared back to the fast and furious glory days. Fittingly, the two have decided to join forces in an attempt to regain their places...

I think to say that Ashley Judd has fallen off the perennial star map would be a gross understatement. Once upon a time, the well-shaped actress was Hollywood's go-to girl for roles that required a strong, ball-busting woman that could avoid serial killers like the plague and still seem vulnerable. Yes, she was a treat. But alas, Hollywood is a fickle, fickle place (just ask Paul Walker), and well poor Miss Ashley hasn't been getting much work lately. Until now! The former B+ lister...

The first trailer for Fast and Furious starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster has appeared online. When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O'Conner (Walker). But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmanuever him. And from…

We have some great images in from the next film in the franchise from Universal Pictures. Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Laz Alonzo! This is the fourth film in the series, the last of which was "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" which neither Walker nor Diesel starred in. The new film reunites the original stars and looks set to bring in some big box office numbers for Universal. Diesel makes his return soon with the Mathieu Kassovitz' directed "Babylon A.D." which sees theatres on August 29th. Based on the novel written by Maurice G. Dantec which Eric Besnard ("Ca$h") adapts. Walker's been quite this year with just a single project on offer in the upcoming "The Lazarus Project" helmed by John Glenn who also writes alongside Evan Astrowsky. He stars with Linda Cardellini in the drama thriller also called "The Heaven Project.

Providing fans with a better looking trailer than the previously-released bootleg trailer, the official first look into "Fast and Furious" has been premiered to fans' delight. Unlike the bootleg version which offered no sounds, this trailer gives out the sound effects as well as the conversations between the characters, one in particular let out Vin Diesel as Dom Toretto saying, "Just like old time."
Through this trailer, fans and movie lovers alike can catch the hijacking of the gasoline land train by Toretto's crew better. They can also enjoy a better view into the fighting sequences and the street racing. The compilation of clips which picks up the tagline of "New Model, Original Parts" has been revealed firstly through MySpace's Trailer Park. Additionally, a series of new photos can be seen below.
Reteaming Diesel and Paul Walker once again as the foes turned friends, fugitive ex-con Toretto and agent Brian O'Conner,

There are more Fast and Furious updates than we can shake a stick at. First, as the seven of you who paid to see Death Race this weekend already know, the new trailer for next summer's Vin Diesel-Paul Walker reunion flick has debuted. MySpace has the cleanest copy I've seen of it, so we decided to go with this one instead of the pirated copies on YouTube (most of which don't have sound).
The best thing about it, with apologies to those who think Jordana Brewster's still on the way up, is the tagline. That's not saying a whole lot. Of course, then again, removing my critic hat, I kind of dug the racing in Tokyo Drift for what it was. The plot was crap, but it was still a lot more entertaining as a viewer than anything in 2 Fast 2 Furious. The director of the third film,

I suspect that this trailer for Fast and Furious -- that's The Fast and the Furious, Part IV: Articles Result in Wind Resistance, or 2 Fast 2 Furious x 2 -- just made a wide number of gearheads moist over the triumphant return of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker as they drive fast and glare hard in a combined effort to save their careers.
Diesel and Walker find themselves reunited with Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster of the hollow but entertaining original, and the whole photogenic ensemble find themselves directed by Justin Lin, a.k.a. the guy they brought in to direct the hollow but tiresome three-quel that none of these actors were themselves a part of (okay, so Diesel made the briefest cameo, yippee for that). The stunts, though, appear to be more along the practical lines of the first two films,

New model. Original parts. Universal has debuted the impressive first trailer for Fast and Furious, the fourth film in the successful series of adrenaline-fueled car movies. If you thought the Transporter 3 trailer was badass, just wait until you see this. I'm not sure how, but I've become instantly excited for this fourth film from the series, even though I completely hated the idea of the third one, Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Universal has done a fantastic job of turning this movie into one of the big events of next year. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster have all returned and are ready to kick some more ass and race some more cars in Fast and Furious. Definitely be sure to check this trailer out! Though Universal Pictures have yet to officially release the trailer of the forthcoming "Fast and Furious" movie on the virtual world, it has been leaked out. The bootleg trailer of the "The Fast and the Furious" franchise is taken from the one previewed in front of "Death Race" theatrical screening.
Giving a sneak peak to the latest street car racing film, the video doesn't provide any sound from the footage, but it displays many of the hardcore actions the fans and moviegoers are going to see, including the explosions and the fierce fights. It is dominated with a scene where Dom Toretto and his crew are trying to hijack a gasoline land train in Dominican Republic, but in a blink of an eye it all goes in the wrong way.
Reuniting the original cast ensemble that include Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, "Fast and Furious" will

Coming Soon is reporting that Vin Diesel has directed a 20 minute prequel story to the upcoming Fast and Furious, the fourth film in the Fast and the Furious franchise. In the short "film" Diesel will star along with Michelle Rodriguez reprising her role as Letty and Sung Kang returning as Han. Rodriguez returns along with Paul Walker in the fourth film hitting theaters June 5, 2009. Cs assumes the prequel story will tie-in some of the events from the second and third movies. Rodriguez appeared in the first movie, Sung Kang in the third, and Diesel in the first with a brief cameo in the third. However, there is no telling how exactly it will be distributed. Attached to a new DVD release of the first three films would be a likely place to promote as well as a half-hour commercial filled television broadcast before or after "Heroes" on NBC? Who knows?

The folks over at ComingSoon.net learned Tuesday that Vin Diesel is directing a 20-minute prequel to his upcoming action flick "Fast and Furious." Trust me, I was surprised too when I first read it.
Although not much is known about the short, Diesel he would star alongside Michelle Rodriguez and Sung Kang. Rodriguez starred in the first film of the series and will reprise her role in the fourth installment, which opens June 5, 2009. Kang starred in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokio Drift."
Diesel didn't comment on how and when the prequel would premiere once it's ready.
In the upcoming big-screen sequel, Diesel and Paul Walker team up to take down a common enemy. Justin Lin si directing. Diesel will next star in Mathieu Kassovitz's action flick "Babylon A.D."
Did you know? This is not the first time Diesel moves behind the camera, and it also won't be the last.

If you've been jonesin a little Paul Walker/Vin Diesel love since the original Fast And The Furious, you're about to get your fix again pretty soon. We've learned that the trailer for their new movie, Fast And Furious, will be in theaters with Death Race a week from today. Kinda perfect marketing, eh? The trailer will run 2:07 so we should be getting some meat and potatoes and not just a short tease. Justin Lin, who directed the Tokyo Drift installment of the franchise, has returned to...

I have the script for Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards (like everyone else at this point), but I have not had a chance to read it, which may be the reason I continue to be baffled by the names being added to the cast. Of course the Eli Roth casting is a definite head scratcher seeing how I look at that bit of casting as more of a "toss your friend a bone" kind of deal, something I understand with Michael Madsen since Madsen is a bad ass, but Eli Roth? B.J. Novak I know nothing about so I have no comments and the Brad Pitt casting seems just fine. Pitt is an underated actor that never gets proper credit for actually being a great actor due to the fact he was always pegged as the pretty face. However, after films such as 12 Monkey, Seven, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Are you ready for more “Fast and Furious”? Believe it or not, the franchise enters its fourth round already, and as surprising as it is, the original cast returns as well. That’s right, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez are all back in the driver’s seat.
USA Today posted an article previewing the upcoming Justin Lin-directed sequel, which will hit theaters June 5, 2009. At this stage, not much is known about the plot, except that lead characters Brian O’Connor (Walker) and Dominic Toretto (Diesel) team up to infiltrate the operation of a ruthless heroin importer.
I can’t say I’m that excited about the title “Fast and Furious” for the fourth installment, but then again, it’s way better than some titles of sequels. Click here for the complete article and some of the film’s pictures. Excited about another lap of fast cars and hot chicks?

Paul Walker won last week's battle of the Hollywood hunks, scoring 120 votes to Ryan Phillipe's 41. Many of you, it seems, just couldn't resist Paul's "piercing blue eyes" - not to mention that body, of course. Anyway, we're going north of the border for this week's Face Off, a duel between two sexy Scotsmen we'd love to see in (or out) of a kilt. Without further ado, let's get voting!
