Ryder and Sennett reportedly revealed their news to guests at the Valentino show, which marked the end of Paris Fashion Week in France, on Thursday - before most of the world even knew they were dating. But Ryder's spokeswoman Mara Buxbaum has denied the engagement story. She tells Wenn, "It's not accurate. They're dating and they have been dating for some time, but they're not engaged." Ryder and Rilo Kelly guitarist Sennett met on the set of new movie Water Pill.

Actress Marion Cotillard has hit out at media reports she questioned the official account of the September 11 terrorist atrocities in New York, insisting her remarks were "taken out of context." The French star - who scooped the Best Actress Academy Award for her role in Edith Piaf biopic La Vie En Rose - has landed in controversy after a 2007 interview surfaced in which she controversially blasted the accepted theory the World Trade Center was brought crashing down by planes. TV prankster Steve-O has reportedly been detained by police - after a neighbor caught him wrecking his Hollywood apartment complex. The Jackass star is alleged to have been found breaking holes in the walls of his Los Angeles home, when one of his neighbors made a citizen's arrest on the joker - restraining him until police officers arrived at the scene, reports Tmz.com. At the time of going to press the star is allegedly at the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood station, where he faces vandalism charges.

Chinese actress Bai Ling has been charged with petty theft following her recent arrest on suspicion of shoplifting. The Crow star was picked up by police on February 13 after allegedly walking into a terminal gift shop at Los Angeles International Airport and walking away with two magazines and a pack of batteries without paying for the goods - worth just $16.22. Ling has since insisted the episode was just part of a "crazy day," blaming the incident on the pressures caused by the "huge problem" of breaking up with her boyfriend just before Valentine's Day. However, Los Angeles authorities have decided to charge the 37-year-old with petty theft. Her arraignment is set for Wednesday, reports website Tmz.com.

Actress Rosanna Arquette has won damages from a British tabloid newspaper after it alleged she had battled drug problems. The 48-year-old star filed a lawsuit after the News Of The World newspaper printed the reports in November last year. She says, "This upsetting and untrue allegation has caused me a lot of distress. I felt it was something I had to take action about and I feel so much better now that the true position has been made clear." The paper, which retracted the story, says, "We are happy to clarify the situation and apologize to Ms. Arquette." Arquette, best known for her starring role opposite Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan, is donating the undisclosed damages to The Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.

Actress Jeri Ryan is celebrating after giving birth to a baby girl. The Shark star and her chef husband Christophe Eme welcomed baby Gisele into the world in Los Angeles on Sunday. She weighed in at seven pounds and 13 ounces. Ryan's spokesman David Lust tells website People.com, "Both parents are thrilled. Jeri is resting comfortably and Christophe is playing the part of proud new papa quite well." Ryan, who has a 13-year-old son from a previous relationship, wed Eme last June.

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long gushed about their new romance when they joined Oprah Winfrey for a chat on Monday. Live Free Or Die Hard star Long sat in the audience as Barrymore was interviewed on The Oprah Winfrey Show, but before the chat, Winfrey made a point of commenting about Barrymore's glow. Kid Rock has pleaded not guilty to a battery charge following a fight in a Waffle House last year. The star and five members of his entourage were arrested for misdemeanor battery after a brawl in an Atlanta, Georgia restaurant in October following a concert in the area. Rock - whose real name is Robert James Ritchie - wasn't at the DeKalb County State Court on Monday to enter his plea. His lawyer Darryl Cohen waived an arraignment hearing and entered a not guilty plea on the 37-year-old's behalf.

Singer/actress Jessica Simpson's sports star boyfriend Tony Romo has slammed reports the couple are engaged. Simpson and Romo have been inseparable for months, prompting speculation they are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
