Kidman Denies Pregnancy Rumors

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has denied she is expecting her first child with husband Keith Urban. The 40-year-old star and her musician partner were reported to have told their families over Christmas that they were having a baby. But a spokesman for Kidman insists she is not pregnant, telling British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, "As far as we are concerned it is another rumor." The couple fueled speculation they were planning to start a family together when Kidman announced she was hoping to "wind down" her film commitments next year. She also recently expressed her desire to have a baby with Urban. The Golden Compass star already has two adopted children, Isabella, 14, and Conor, 12, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Murphy & Edmonds To Wed In Tahiti This Weekend
Eddie Murphy will wed fiancee Tracey Edmonds this weekend in the South Pacific, according to Internet reports. Sources claim the couple and family members arrived in Tahiti on Friday for the low-key nuptials. And insiders tell PlanetGossip.Eonline.com that top secret fittings for the bride and her bridesmaids took place earlier in the week. Edmonds, the former wife of music mogul Kenneth `Babyface' Edmonds, revealed she and Murphy were planning to wed before the end of 2007 back in October. She told Sister 2 Sister magazine she envisioned "a very intimate ceremony," adding, "My bridal party would be much smaller than my first wedding." Murphy proposed to Edmonds in July, while the two were watching TV. She has revealed he walked over to her casually, and then surprised her by getting on his knees. She asked him what he was doing and he replied, "I'm about to ask you to marry me," before he presented her with a canary yellow square diamond, surrounded by two white diamonds in a platinum setting. She recalls, "I was speechless for a moment when I first saw it."
Cyrus Defends Controversial Photo Shoot
Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has defended a photoshoot in which she is seen frolicking with a female companion - insisting the photos are entirely "innocent". The 15-year-old faced a storm of criticism after the pictures, which showed her rolling around on a hotel room floor and sharing a piece of candy with a friend, were leaked on the Internet and deemed to have inappropriate sexual undertones. But the teenager has hit back claiming there is nothing erotic about the images. She says, "They're nothing bad! It's not something I'm going to let slide. I'm really upset about it, 'cause it was, like, not even a big deal. That's one of my best friends. I have all these girls who I hang out with all the time. It's two girls at a sleepover, and if all of a sudden that's bad, then what is the world coming to?"
Swinton Leading a 'Double Life'

British actress Tilda Swinton has confessed to leading an extraordinary double life following a spate of Internet rumors about an alleged affair. The 47-year-old admits to enjoying a romantic liaison with a "delightful painter" while still living with her long-term partner and their two children. Swinton, who is nominated for a Golden Globe award for her role in Michael Clayton alongside George Clooney, spends much of her time away from the family home in Scotland with a mystery partner. And despite having a new man in her life Swinton insists that she is still in a relationship with John Byrne, who is the father of her 10-year-old twins. She tells the Los Angeles Times: "We are the best of pals and adore being parents and are devoted to that project. We ostensibly live in the same house but I travel the world with another delightful painter. The arrangement is just so sane." Meanwhile, writer/director Byrne, who began his relationship with Swinton in 1990, tells Britain's The Mail On Sunday, "We're amicably living together in the same house, under the same roof. It's extraordinary. We love each other too, in an extraordinary way."
Cox Defends Decision to Dish Dirt on Britney
Courteney Cox has defended her decision to base a character on troubled star Britney Spears in the second season of her hit TV show Dirt. The former Friends actress plans to use Spears' antics - including her divorce and custody battle with ex Kevin Federline and her bizarre head-shaving incident earlier this year - as inspiration for the show's second series. But Cox - an executive producer on the show, in which she also plays ruthless magazine editor Lucy Spiller - claims Spears shouldn't take offense. She says, "This is not an attack on Britney. I am not out to offend anyone."
Lynne Spears' Book 'Will Be Released'
Britney Spears' mother Lynne's forthcoming parenting book will still be published, despite the news her teenage daughter Jamie-lynn is pregnant. Jamie-Lynn, 16, confirmed she is 12-weeks pregnant with student Casey Aldridge's baby during an interview with OK! magazine on Tuesday. The bombshell news was first reported to have thrown doubt on whether Lynne's book Pop Culture Mom, which follows her adventures raising two famous daughters, would ever be released. However, a statement from Christian publisher Thomas Nelson has confirmed the tome will still come out: "Lynne's memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the toll it extracts from some who aspire to it. "It will provide a much-needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities. "We believe in redemption. Therefore, we are standing with Lynne and her family during this difficult time. Though the book has been delayed, we believe God is at work."

Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly back in the arms of Israeli model Bar Rafaeli after the 'split' couple was spotted holding hands in Hollywood just before Christma . Revellers at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills saw the couple together for the first time since their October split hit the headlines on 20 December. A source tells Us Weekly magazine Rafaeli and DiCaprio never officially split: "They were never really off. It was always a distance thing - Leo was making a movie in Morocco, and Bar had her modeling career. It's a struggle to make a relationship like theirs work, but yes, they're together." Rafaeli has been linked to surfing icon Kelly Slater since allegedly splitting from the movie star.

Letterman was among the late night hosts who shelved his show when the strike began on 5 November . He continued to pay his staff out of his own pocket. And his generosity appears to have won him favour among Writers Guild of America union bosses, who have given his writing staff permission to cross picket lines when his show returns on 2 January . In a statement released on Friday, Letterman says, "I am grateful to the WGA for granting us this agreement. We're happy to be going back to work, and particularly pleased to be doing it with our writers."
