Dave Chappelle made a rare appearance last night in New York when he joined Chris Rock onstage at the Comedy Cellar, the Comic's Comic reports. Chappelle has spent the past week in New York, dropping by the famed club – one regularly featured in Louis C.K.'s show Louie – to test new material. Tina Fey Says 'No Way' to Hosting Oscars Next Year

Seth MacFarlane has already said he's not interested in hosting the Oscars again, and it turns out Tina Fey doesn't want the gig, either. The 30 Rock creator told The Huffington Post there's "no way" she would be interested in hosting next year's Academy Awards.
Speculation began about whether she would do it began in a bit during this year's ceremony, when William Shatner teased host Seth MacFarlane by asking, "Why couldn't they get Tina and Amy to host?"

Jimmy Kimmel: Morrissey 'Keeps Finding New Ways to Depress Us'

After Morrissey canceled his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night over sharing the show with the stars of the A&E reality series Duck Dynasty, Kimmel poked fun at the former Smiths singer with a special skit. "There a very good reason why I didn't dump the Duck Dynasty guys for Morrissey, and it's because they have guns," said Kimmel. "He keeps finding new ways to depress us." So far, Nashville has shied away from tapping into Music City's vast stable of stars for celebrity cameos, focusing instead on the fictional fame of Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere). Senate Ends 'Zero Dark Thirty' Probe

The Sentate Intelligence Committee has closed an investigation into whether Zero Dark Thirty filmmakers had "inappropriate" contact with the CIA, Reuters reports, a day after the film lost out to Argo for Best Picture at the 85th Academy Awards.
The news came from an anonymous congressional aide who said the committee had gathered information from the CIA and from director Kathryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal, and would not take any further action.

'Arrested Development' Won't Get Second Netflix Season

Arrested Development's revival on Netflix will last just one new season, the company's CEO, Reed Hastings, told investors yesterday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Arrested is a unique property, we don't anticipate being able to do season five, six and seven," said Hastings. "We have less of a stake in it. It is really a fantastic one-off, which is coming together incredibly. I think it will be amazing for us, but think of it as a nonrepeatable amazing."

Michael Jackson's Son Books Acting Debut on '90210'

Michael Jackson's son Prince Michael will make his acting debut this March on the CW's teen drama 90210, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Jackson will play a trauma victim named Cooper who connects with main character Silver (Jessica Stroup). This week, Jackson is filming the episode, which serves as the fifth season finale. 90210 has also featured Carly Rae Jepsen, Ne-Yo and Nelly Furtado, among others, this season.

Academy Award Ratings Best Since 2007

Seth MacFarlane can breathe a sigh of relief: Sunday night's telecast of the 85th Academy Awards ceremony ratings were up, according to early reports.
The MacFarlane-hosted awards show on ABC garnered a 26.6 overall rating with households and a 41 share, a four percent gain over last year's show. In the coveted adult 18-49 demo, the telecast fared even better: up 19 percent over last year by earning a 12.1 rating.
Those overall numbers make it the most-watched Oscars telecast since 2007 (27.7/42 overall rating), when Ellen DeGeneres hosted and Martin Scorsese's The Departed won Best Picture. »
