Mike White Drops Out of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

What The Hell Is Going On With This Movie?!!
In what should be a sign of a curse, Mike White has dropped out of the director's chair for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Apparently, White had an obligation to HBO that he couldn't get out of.
"I loved the project and looked forward to working with Lionsgate," White told Deadline. "Unfortunately, the timing could not be worked out. I wish them the best with the movie."
Lionsgate is immediately searching for a replacement for White, who was a replacement for David O. Russell, who reportedly left behind a "strong script." So strong, in fact, that no one, not even Russell himself, will stick around to direct it.
Seriously, someone make this already.

Tinothy Olyphant Denies Involvement in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

After being mentioned as one of six actors testing for the lead role in the adaptation of the Seth Grahame-Smith (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Timothy Olyphant told Collider that he was, actually, not testing for it whatsoever.
No, that’s not true. I’m not doing that, no. Thanks for asking, but no, that’s not true.
That leaves actors Benjamin Walker, James D'Arcy, Adrien Brody, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Josh Lucas from the initial Deadline report (who have gone back and edited out Olyphant's name faster than they can type "Toldja!"). Timur Bekmambetov is directing the movie, which will be released in 3-D in 2012.

Could The Walking Dead's Season 2 Premiere in July?

Imagine the amount of flies buzzing around the corpses in July!
All signs have pointed to The Walking Dead's Season Two debuting in October, similar to Season One and coinciding with AMC's FearFest. But, if Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is to believed, we could see Season Two in July. Cranston dropped this little nugget to Vulture in a recent interview.
It was a decision from AMC that they wanted to position us in July, along with Mad Men. And I believe they're going to put Walking Dead in July as well. I think it's just a sensible thing — they want to attract as many eyeballs as possible, away from the heavy competition of the September, November, January start.
This may just be wishful thinking. While AMC likely wants to get Season Two out on the air as soon as possible, it will likely take more time to put together a second season, »

Milla Jovovich Discusses Her Resident Evil Character; Admits to Being "Hated"

what?! Fans hate the Resident Evil movies? No....
With Resident Evil: Afterlife now on DVD, Computerandvideogames spoke to Milla Jovovich about the movie franchise and whether there was any fan backlash about her playing a non-video game character in four (and counting) movie adaptations.
Oh yeah, there are, like, 15 people in the world that spend all day really hating me. Like horrifically hating me with a passion. They're always writing. I tell them: "Why don't you just write a script?" But if you ask one hardcore fan about something, they'd disagree with that hardcore fan over there. Another hardcore fan might think the hunters should have been in the movie. And what are the hunters? They're big frogs. There are a lot of characters in the Resident Evil games that are not very photogenic.
You can't please everybody and hardcore fans are hardcore fans and you're never going to please them, »
