ABC To Od on Crossover Promotions With FlashForwards on 'Desperate Housewives'

First, a plane crash will occur on Wisteria Lane. Now the residents will have FlashFowards.

Michael Ausiello reports that Desperate Housewives will incorporate temporary "what if" flash forwards after the epic plane crash that is to happen later this season. The flash forwards will take place thirty years in the future given that the casting call is looking for actors to play aged versions of Gaby's youngest daughter Celia and Susan and Mike's son, Mj. Both will be in their thirties. The flash forward will be temporary and be an alternate "what if" look at life post the accident and if a certain unknown character hadn't kicked the bucket in the plane crash.

For some reason, I can't help but see an ABC exec standing with a gun aiming at Marc Cherry as Mr. Cherry writes profusely, sweating even faster to instill ABC's hit primetime stories together for the sake of free promotion. »

Recap – Fringe 2.06 – Earthling

Randy Dancik appears to be another man who is lying to his wife about being on a business trip when he is really getting down to business with his mistress but it turns out he is a good guy who is surprising his wife for their anniversary.  He gets the card written and the roses arranged and the candles lit but keeps getting distracted by lights in the hall going on and off and the television losing reception.  Finally he catches a glimpse of shadow, a glimpse that terrifies him.

Soon-to-be-very-surprised Natalie arrives home and spots all the prep work.  She's impressed.  She goes into the living room and sees Randy sitting on a chair.  When he doesn't respond to her compliments, she touches his arm.  And he crumbles into a pile of ash.

Broyles is sitting alone in a fancy restaurant when he notices a boy at the next table mimicking his every move. »

FlashForward — 1.08 "Playing Cards with Coyote" Press Release

The following article was originally posted on hyperMosaic.com by Sam McPherson. You can read the original article there.

After this week's bombshell of an episode, FlashForward returns with an episode that seems to be just as much of a thrill ride. The series continues moving forward at a breakneck pace, revealing new answers to questions posed by the flashforwards of both Mark and Aaron.

The episode will also mark the return of Janis to the show after her absence from this week's episode, and will also most likely at least throw some hints about her pregnancy.

However, the most important part of the episode is destined to be the card game between Lloyd and Simon. While this material seems like it will be slightly filler-ish, I think that it'll reveal quite a lot through the characters' interactions. Who knows, we might even get so see some of the other scientists responsible for the blackout. »

Stargate Universe: Kino Webisodes On The Official 'Stargate' Website! Plus DVD News!

The Official MGM website for the Stargate series have webisodes called Sgu: Kino which features Eli mostly exploring the Destiny and interacting with the characters in between each weekly disaster. There are comical moments, character development moments, and Wtf moments, but if you are a fan of Sgu, then it wouldn't hurt to try them out.

There are twelve webisodes so far, but SciFi Scoop announced that there will be thirty episodes total. If you guys want me to recap those one to three minute webisodes along with the weekly recaps, please feel free to voice your opinions in the comment section below.

SciFi Scoop also reported that the first ten episodes of Sgu will be released to DVD with a plethora of extras and the last ten will be released after the episodes air next year. I'm kind of a full set type of person, but I might make a exception for these babies. »

New Characters Coming to 'FlashForward'

The following article was originally posted on hyperMosaic.com by Sam McPherson. You can read the original article there.

If you haven’t already caught on to it, FlashForward is getting into a habit of playing its hand slowly, especially as far as cast goes. As opposed to many other serialized shows, where most of the main characters were introduced in the first episodes, FlashForward means to add to its main cast gradually. We’ve already seen this in the introduction of characters like Gabrielle Union’s Zoey and Dominic Monaghan’s Simon, and we should be seeing it in the future, according to showrunner David Goyer.

“We’re introducing quite a few new characters down the line,” Goyer told MTV. Among those characters is the Japanesse woman from Bryce’s vision. “…her name is Keiko,” Goyer revealed, though he was deliberately tight-lipped about any more details, instead simply telling »

'Numb3rs' plots series finale

As reported a few days ago, things aren't looking good for CBS's crime procedural Numb3rs. The number of episodes for the sixth season was cut down from twenty-two to sixteen, a sure sign that things aren't looking good for any show, despite Numb3rs' relatively good ratings and viewership. Co-creator Cheryl Heuton addressed these fears, telling audiences that the writers of the show are indeed planning for the sixteenth episode of the sixth season to serve as a series finale.

“We will be doing a 16th episode that wraps up storylines and answers questions,” Heuton told Entertainment Weekly. “It will be designed to stand as a finale, but it won’t create story situations that would hamper us if the network should decide to order more episodes.” The episode “will give fans what they’ve been waiting for… We’re looking to feature all our characters and give good moments »

Stargate Universe 1.07 "Earth" Recap

So we learned a lot of stuff about our characters tonight on Stargate Universe and I have to say that it was best offering yet. Of course, some of the sci-fi action types might beg to differ, but this is a character based show and we finally got some depth on the characters we are growing to love (or hate in some opinions) and I felt like I got a feast tonight. How about you?

Dirty, Dirty Colonel!!!

We opened tonight with what looked like Young getting a routine check up from Tj, but he comes on to her saying that he is sorry and never meant to hurt her. Tj passionately kisses him and he kisses back.

What?!?!?!?!?

Col. Young wakes up and realizes that he is late for a meeting. He and Camile use the Ancient Communication Stones to contact Earth. Once there, Lt. Gen. O'Neill (guest star »

6 November 2009 12:06 PM, PST

Supernatural 5.08 "Changing Channels" Recap

6 November 2009 1:06 AM, PST

This week's hijinks begin with the Winchesters investigating a "bear attack" in Wellington, Ohio. An interview with the victim's wife reveals that the attacker was not a bear, but the Incredible Hulk (the Lou Ferrigno version). Sam finds candy wrappers at the crime scene, and it seems the victim was quite a hothead himself and thus received his just desserts. The situation reeks of the Trickster (in case you weren't paying attention during the 'Then' section five minutes ago). Sam, being of the utilitarian sort, wants to ally with it. Presumably because he doesn't want to wake up to 'Heat of the Moment' every day for the rest of eternity. Dean, having been killed upwards of a thousand times by the damned thing, is understandably skeptical. The boys hear an emergency call over their police scanner and head out to an abandoned warehouse to check it out. They bust through the door and… »

The Vampire Diaries 1.08 "162 Candles" Recap

6 November 2009 12:23 AM, PST

Damon has officially went rogue on my "Ish List" as the diabolical bastard I would love to stake. Sure, he's interesting when it comes to plot and story, but he has entered the "Love To Hate" pile for TV characters after tonight's events.

A Blast From The Past

Stefan is shocked to find that his old vamp buddy Lexi (guest star Arielle Kebbel, "Gilmore Girls", John Tucker Must Die!) shows up to celebrate Stefan's 162th birthday. She is a bubbly vamp and seems to take up the same ideals as Stefan. In short, I'm in love. But is it me or does it look like something is wrong with Arielle Kebbel's face? She doesn't look the same to me. Anyway…

Let me list the reasons why I love Lexi: 1), she hates Katherine, 2) she hates Damon even more and 3) she gave us an answer about the rings the Salvatore brothers wear, »

Mini Recap — The Mentalist 2.06 "Black Gold and Red Blood"

5 November 2009 11:19 PM, PST

Tonight on The Mentalist, "Black Gold and Red Blood", Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) once again defies people's expectations. After Agent Bosco (Terry Kinney) discovers the bug that Jane planted in his office, he has Jane arrested. As usual, Jane isn't remorseful in the least bit and doesn't seem to be all that fearful about jail time. Turning down Bosco's deal to quit the Cbi, Jane heads off to the penitentiary. Not considering himself a cop, Jane refuses protective custody and gets put in with the general population.

Once we get a look at Jane's murderer roommate, if we weren't already thinking it, we get the idea Jane may have made a serious error. After all, Jane is very pretty and not at all violent, which is not the best combination in prison. Though Jane makes friends with his cellmate with a little psychotherapy, he realizes he may have been a »
