Canceled

"Kathy" has been canceled. Bravo pulled the plug on Kathy Griffin's talk show after two seasons. Griffin confirmed the news on Twitter.
The late-night talk show began as vehicle for Griffin in 2012 after her reality series, "My Life Life On the D-List," ended. "Kathy" originally featured the comedienne chatting with a panel of "normal" people, including journalists, friends of her assistant and more. In Season 2, it shifted to Griffin interviewing celebrities -- sometimes live -- in groups of three.
"There are so many shows where there's a one-on-one interview with someone for four-six minutes, they talk about their project and it's great, but I know that's how it's done because I've basically been on every talk show in the world and been banned from at least half of them," Griffin told The Huffington Post before Season 2 premiered. "There's just a really fun and different experience when these people get »

Shakira Refuses To Pay Ex $100 Million
If she has anything to do with it, Shakira is not giving her ex a penny of her money.
"The Voice" coach is fighting back after her ex-boyfriend Antonio de la Rua filed a lawsuit against her in NYC last year, claiming he was her manager during their 11-year courtship. According to TMZ, de la Rua says he scored lucrative music deals for her and is owed a big chunk -- $100 million to be exact -- of her earnings.
But in legal documents filed by Shakira, the latin pop star says she was already an international success when she met de la Rua in 2000 and explains that even though he helped her with some decisions, he was never her manager.
The new mom, who just welcomed her son Milan with her soccer player beau Gerard Pique, claims that the only thing she and de la Rua ever signed was a 2006 agreement in her native Colombia, »

NYC Urged To Settle Central Park Jogger Case
2 hours ago
New York — New York is a safer, less fearful place than it was in 1990, when murders hit an all-time high, race relations were raw and the city felt under siege from drug dealers and gangs on "wilding" sprees. But one major piece of unfinished business from back then still hangs over the city and its legal system: the Central Park jogger case.
Five black and Hispanic boys were convicted that year in the rape and grisly beating of a white woman jogging in the park, and they went on to serve six to 13 years in prison before their convictions were thrown out in 2002 because of evidence linking someone else to the crime.
They sued police and prosecutors for $250 million. But the lawsuit has languished for a decade with no resolution in sight.
Now, a growing chorus of lawmakers is asking New York City to settle with the five men. And »

An 'Onslaught Of Hatred From Taylor Swift's Fan Base'
Las Vegas -- More than a few people have suggested to the producers of the Academy of Country Music Awards that they extend the broadcast delay for Sunday night's show – just in case.
With Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan co-hosting, everyone expects the unexpected – and several off-color, unscripted moments – as country music's biggest cut-ups collide on stage. A recent interview in Nashville with the two, who've given themselves the celebrity couple name "Bluke," veered wildly from a discussion of Bryan's unworthiness to host to crude jokes and Taylor Swift's fans.
"I would tell him to be prepared for the onslaught of hatred that will come from Taylor Swift's fan base if you say any sort of a joke or if she's any part of a punch line in the monologue," Shelton said when asked what advice he'd give Bryan. "By the way, you're getting all those jokes this year. »

Photos: Fabulous 1960s Interiors Fit For Don Draper
3 hours ago
The sixth season of AMC's 'Mad Men' premieres tonight. But besides looking forward to getting a glimpse of Don Draper in his retro bathing suit on the beaches of Hawaii, we're most excited about seeing the set designs for the new episodes, which take place during the late '60s. It could be stylish (see: Don and Megan's season 5 apartment, or it could be an avocado-hued mess (like later episodes of 'Bewitched'). Nonetheless, we've been counting down the days since last year.
To whet your appetite for all things 'Mad Men,' House Beautiful has shared photos from past issues from that era. These cool interiors feature deep hues, shag carpets and cool low-to-the-floor furniture. Maybe the late '60s weren't as ugly as we feared.
Take a peek through this vintage eye candy below and let us know if you agree.

Miley Cyrus Caught Smoking Something Suspicious
3 hours ago
Miley Cyrus was photographed smoking a suspicious-looking cigarette as she relaxed on the balcony of her Miami hotel with friends yesterday (April 6).
The 20-year-old singer and actress looked as if she just woke up, puffing on the rolled up cig while showing off her legs in a teeny bikini bottom. Cyrus tied her blonde cropped 'do up in a ponytail as she squinted before taking a drag with her ringless finger. That's right, Cyrus' engagement rock from fiance Liam Hemsworth was not present for the smoke session.
After possibly noticing the paparazzi snapping shots, Cyrus went "incognito" and slipped on a black beanie and sunglasses.
And oddly enough, Cyrus just released her new drug reference-infused song with Snoop Lion, "Ashtrays And Heartbreaks," which is a track off his new album Reincarnated.
Back in February, a photo of the former teen star was uploaded to Instagram showing what looked to be Cyrus smoking another suspicious-looking cigarette, »

His Final Review
The Chicago Sun-Times has printed late film critic Roger Ebert's final review.
At the time of his death, Ebert's last published review was for "Twilight" creator Stephenie Meyer's latest film, "The Host." Ebert's review, which was posted on Mar. 27, was a fairly negative one, giving the film 2.5 out of 5 stars. Ebert did, however, find some greater meaning in the film, as he wrote:
Soul Melanie (known as Wanderer) falls in love with Earth Melanie, even though in theory this isn't possible because the Wanderer has become Melanie. This intimate form of self-love leads to dialogue that will possibly be found humorous by some people. When Wanda is about to kiss the boy she loves, for example, the film uses voiceover to warn her: "No, Melanie! Wrong! No! He's from another planet!"
True, in our own lives, we pick up warnings on that frequency: No! You'll get pregnant! No! »

But perhaps the best moment comes around 9:45 as segment is ending. Carlin tells Stewart, "You are going to show us a lot, and I looked forward to it."

Jeremy Irons Responds To Controversy After Gay Marriage Remarks
17 hours ago
Actor Jeremy Irons sounded off on the controversy that ensued after his gay marriage remarks in a HuffPost Live interview earlier this week.
The 64-year-old stage and screen veteran posted a letter which appeared on the website JeremyIrons.net, calling the media's implication that he is anti-gay "as far from the truth of me as to say that I believe the earth is flat."
In the letter, which has since been excerpted by The Advocate, Towleroad, Pink News and number of other media outlets, Irons wrote:
"Perhaps rather too flippantly I flew the kite of an example of the legal quagmire that might occur if same sex marriage entered the statute books, by raising the possibility of future marriage between same sex family members for tax reasons, (incest being illegal primarily in order to prevent inbreeding, and therefore an irrelevance in non reproductive relationships)."

Irish Actor Dies At 86
New York — The Irish actor Milo O'Shea, whose many roles on stage and screen included a friar in Franco Zeffirelli's "Romeo and Juliet," an evil scientist in "Barbarella" and a Supreme Court justice on "The West Wing," has died in New York City. He was 86.
Ireland's arts minister, Jimmy Deenihan, said in a statement announcing O'Shea's death on Tuesday that the Dublin-born actor would be remembered for "ground-breaking" roles, including a performance as Leopold Bloom in the 1967 film adaptation of "Ulysses."
O'Shea also acted on Broadway, playing a gay hairdresser in 1968's "Staircase." He was nominated for Tony Awards twice.
The public knew O'Shea best as a character actor. His bushy eyebrows and white hair made him a favorite of casting directors looking for priests. He played a drunken one on the TV show "Cheers," a pedophilic one in the 1997 film "The Butcher Boy," a charming one in the 1981 Broadway play "Mass Appeal, »

'Tonight Show' Battle Proves Late Night TV Is Still A White Men's Club
21 hours ago
Los Angeles — The role of female talk show hosts in late-night TV broadcast network history, all 50-plus years of it, can be summed up in two words: Joan Rivers. It takes just another two – Arsenio Hall – to do the same for minorities.
There's no indication that's going to change in the latest round of musical chairs involving "Tonight" and "Late Night." All the NBC, ABC and CBS showcase jobs at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and later appear likely to remain securely in white men's hands.
Jay Leno is handing off to Jimmy Fallon, with speculation tagging Seth Meyers as his likely successor. Meanwhile, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Craig Ferguson and Carson Daly are sitting pretty, without the faintest drumbeat of a pair of advancing high heels to signal a threat.
There have been alternatives bandied about – Chelsea Handler, black comedian-writer Aisha Tyler – but no hints they or others are getting traction. »

Headed To 'Anchorman'
Another big-name Hollywood star has been added to the "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" billing.
Nicole Kidman reportedly has a secret cameo in the upcoming "Anchorman" sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and the Oscar-winning actress has already shot the bit in Atlanta.
THR also reported Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, who appeared in the original "Anchorman" as rival newscasters to Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy, will shoot small roles as well.
Rumors previously spread that Meryl Streep would be making a cameo appearance in "Anchorman 2," but Steve Carell shot those down. "When I did 'Hope Springs,' [Meryl] mentioned she was a fan and she said, 'Oh, I'd love to be in it,'" Carell, who plays Brick Tamland, told "Access Hollywood" in March. "But that's not gonna [happen] -- that's not a thing. She's actually busy -- she can't do it."
