Weta Digital's Joe Letteri recently spoke to Bleeding Cool about director Zack Snyder's Man of Steel . The visual effects supervisor didn't want to talk about the effects, however, and instead addressed the film's story. Here's what he said: "I can.t talk too much about Man of Steel yet, and I haven.t seen the whole thing yet, but overall it.s the story that.s most exciting. It.s a nice re-envisioning of the story of Superman leaving his homeworld and coming to this new one. New Video From the Godzilla Set Online

Warner Bros. Pictures has been filming Godzilla at Golden Ears Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada and a new video of the production is online and can be watched below. Bradley Cooper Joins Jane Got a Gun

Following some major shake-ups last month , Bradley Cooper has joined the cast of Gavin O'Connor's Jane Got a Gun , Deadline reports. He replaces the recently-departed Jude Law as the film's chief antagonist. Also starring Natalie Portman, Joel Edgerton and Rodrigo Santoro, Jane Got a Gun centers on a woman who must ask an ex-lover for help in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang who are out to kill him. Cooper was recently nominated for an Academy Award for his role in David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook . Veronica Mars Movie Reveals Promotional T-Shirt Art

Having already hit $4.6 million through Kickstarter contributions, Rob Thomas' Veronica Mars feature film is getting closer every day. Today, Thomas offered an update, showing off brand new promotional artwork to be featured on T-shirts sent to those who contributed $25 or more. Snowpiercer's Cast of Characters Revealed Through Passport Photos

Back in January, the first official photos from director Bong Joon-ho's Snowpiercer came online, offering a first look at the sci-fi thriller from the director of The Host . Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Heads to Pompeii

Fox 2000 Plans Half Bad

Just two weeks after Penguin Books acquired Sally Green's new novel, Half Bad , for publishing in 2014, comes word, via Deadline , that Fox 2000 has taken the film rights. Planned as the "Half Life Trilogy," Half Bad is officially described as being "a supernatural thriller set in a modern world inhabited by covert witches, Black and White: factions divided by hatred and united by only one thing-fear of a boy descended from both sides." Vikings to Return for a Second Season

History has renewed its first scripted drama series, "Vikings," for a 10-episode second season. Dirk Hoogstra, Evp, Development and Programming for History made the announcement today. Created and written by Michael Hirst, the renewal comes just five episodes into the "Vikings" freshman season. Four new episodes remain in the current season airing Sundays at 10 p.m. with the season finale slated for Sunday, April 28 at 10 p.m. "Vikings" continues to be the #1 new cable series in 2013 and has propelled History to #1 in cable in its Sunday 10-11 p.m. time period. J. August Richards Joins Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D.

ABC's upcoming Marvel Universe television series, "Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D." has scored a Joss Whedon alumni. TVLine reports that "Angel" star J. August Richards has joined the cast in a secret role. Richards joins Clark Gregg, who returns as Agent Coulson, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Gemma Simmons, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May and Chloe Bennet as Skye. The series filmed a pilot earlier this year and, likely headed to series, is expected to begin airing in the fall of 2013. Jessica Chastain Joins Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak

Following the actress' Academy Award nomination for her role in Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty , Variety reports that Jessica Chastain is now set to join Emma Stone, Charlie Hunnam and Benedict Cumberbatch in Guillermo del Toro's haunted house thriller Crimson Peak . Dan Aykroyd and Allison Janney are the latest names said to be joining the cast of Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone's upcoming comedy Tammy . Variety reports that they'll both star alongside McCarthy herself, Susan Sarandon and Mark Duplass. The film is designed as a road trip comedy, and will feature McCarthy as a fast food restaurant employee who, after finding that her husband is cheating on her, quits her job and decides to drive to Mount Rushmore to rediscover herself.
