First Pic of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ and ‘Remember Me’

The first image to the third Twilight movie, Eclipse has finally popped up with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and it’s very … blue. Released officially online today, the image has Bella (Stewart) and Edward (Pattinson) taking part in what seems to be one of their romantic past times – sitting on the grass and looking at each other. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is due out June 30, 2010.

This second image is from Remember Me, a drama starring Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin, along with Chris Cooper and Pierce Brosnan. This movie will be out March 12, 210.

As for the first picture, can anyone designate the moment in the book that the image might be from? Is there any significance with the dominating blue colors, or is it just a sign that the guy who directed Hard Candy is going back to the visual palette?

‘Avatar’ – Domestic and Worldwide Box Office Numbers

Regardless of whether you fell asleep during Avatar or had your eyeballs explode out of their sockets, the film is an event. More so than many releases of this decade, a lot was riding on its opening weekend revenue. Here’s more information on just how well James Cameron’s opus did:

Worldwide, it made $242.5 million, which is the best opening ever for a “nonsequel.”

Even though there was that “blizzard” on the east coast, Avatar saw a drop of revenue of only 3 percent when comparing Saturday to Sunday.

In America, 178 Imax theaters earned a record-breaking $9.5 million. This amount “accounted for 13 percent of the film’s total opening number, although Imax locations repped just 3 percent of the total screen count.”

Avatar opened in 65 major markets around the world – and was top dog at every single one of them.

“With its estimated international total of $165.5 million, Cameron’s pic scored the …

Tsr Blog – Christmas Miracle Wishlist …

By Nick Allen

In Die Hard, a lone cop from New York killed a group of terrorists and saved the lives of hundreds. In Jingle All The Way, a regular dad (Schwarzenegger) learned to fly, and at the same time became a true hero to his son, (who was played by Jake Lloyd!)

Christmastime is the peak season for the miracle business. Here’s some events I’d like to see happen this Friday. If they don’t happen, well, either way I should have enough money to buy that Weezer snuggie I’ve always wanted.

- Reserve Deputy Sheriff Steven Seagal (and On Deadly Ground actor and auteur) arrests FBI’s most wanted, James “Whitey” Bulger, when Seagal’s “police instinct” leads him to a Krispy Kreme. Seagal tazes him first, and then the Michigan native yells in a Bayou tone, “You’re goin’ to tha slamma for a lawwnng time, …

Tsr Blog – Morrowind

By Morrow McLaughlin

Once upon a time, there was a game called Morrowind and then I pretty much lost my will to live in my own reality. I can’t carry an enchanted sword in My reality (not without a permit, anyway) and my last few attempts to walk on water were less than successful.

I hit rock bottom and had to go to Morrowind rehab where I talked about my feelings and was rewarded for not claiming to be a Redguard named Lotus…and then Oblivion happened, and then Fallout 3…and I’ve just given into the fact that I’m an escapist, gamer junkie. Have I briefly considered adult diapers for those days when there’s just too many boss fights for a proper bathroom break?…Of course not, that would be gross.

My newest, favoritist guilty pleasure is Mass Effect by Bioware, which I could play until …

The Many Questions of ‘Avatar

Worldwide the total for Avatar is at $242.5 million.

It also came close to having the best December opening of all time. But that record is still held by Will Smith’s I Am Legend. That topped the box office at $77.2 million.

Avatar is also the widest 3D release so far, with more than 2,000 screens being 3D. It’s also thought the numbers could have been higher but a big blizzard hit the East Coast.
