Mark Isham scores ‘The Crazies’ remake

The remake of George A. Romero’s 1973 cult movie The Crazies gets an original score penned by Mark Isham. The new film, which will premiere on February 28, is directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara) and stars Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell and Danielle Panabaker. Ben Mink’s ‘Alice’ coming on Varèse CD

Following up their release of Simon Boswell’s score for director Nick Willing’s television mini-series Tin Man, Varèse Sarabande has announced the release of Ben Mink’s music for Willing’s new series, Alice. Barzelay of Clem Snide to score ‘Janie Jones’

Alex North tribute at next year’s Úbeda festival

Legendary composer Alex North was born in 1910 and next year will see the 15-time Academy Award nominee being remembered at the Úbeda International Film Music Festival in Spain.
