The Carrie Diaries' Brendan Dooling has had a whirlwind first season, going from girlfriend to coming out, and it's just going to get more intense. Still, Brendan doesn't know where his story might go in season two, if it happens. "I mean, in the books, he lives in a tent in his backyard because his dad doesn't want him in the house. I'm not sure where Amy Harris and the writers are going to take his story. You know, I don't know how much of — godwilling, Season 2 — I don't know how much of that would be Carrie and Walt in the city, as opposed to Walt in Castlebury. But there's certainly a lot more adversity coming his way. He's had support in the closet, and now I don't know what his support system is like outside of it."
