Last year, the CNN channel Hln rode to the rescue of the Daytime Emmys and aired their awards which had been left without a broadcast home for the first time ever.  The show was such a success that the cablecaster is presenting the kudocast again this year. The show will air live from the Beverly Hilton hotel beginning at 8 p.m. Edt on Sunday June 16. In making the announcement, Hln exec Scot Safon said last year's ceremony "was the #1 most-watched, regularly-scheduled non-news broadcast in the network’s history, and received terrific viewer feedback both on-air and online.  Our audiences thanked us for tapping into that vital part of American pop culture."  Related: Who will be nominated at the Daytime Emmys?  Added Malachy Wienges, chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences: “The outcome of this partnership will be a creative show honoring all the genres that make Daytime Televisio. »
