There aren’t a lot of movies that really take us by surprise, but this was one. Not that we thought it was going to be great, but with Steve Carell (who I like generally), Jim Carrey (who can be hilarious), and a decent helping of talent surrounding them, we expected… something.

That really isn’t what we got though… something. At this point, anything would have been nice.

A string of gags sewn together in the quickest, most slipshod fashion, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone’s best feature is the eerie self-reference it makes about a “show” being knocked out by people who don’t care anymore.

Give a listen below, we’re fairly confident that we’re more entertaining than the movie itself… you know, just kind of by default.
