McCartney lent his voice and his music to surf documentary director Jack McCoy and his newest film, “A Deeper Shade of Blue.” The documentary uses the evolution of surfboards as a benchmark to document the larger culture of wave riding Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Iggy Pop also lent their songs to the film, which will be shown in 400 theaters nationwide Thursday night as a Fathom Events special feature. »
