Olympic Star Oscar Pistorius: Murder Charge After Shooting Girlfriend

Paralympic gold medalist Oscar Pistorius, also known as ‘blade runner,’ is being charged with murder in South Africa after alledgedly shooting his model girlfriend on Feb. 14. Eerily, just one day earlier, she tweeted, ‘What do you have up your sleeve for your love tomorrow???’

Paralympic gold medalist and the first double amputee to ever compete in the Olympics Oscar Pistorius, 26, has been arrested from his home in Pretoria, South Africa, after reportedly shooting his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, 30, by accident multiple times because he thought she was an intruder. The couple had been dating since November 2012. Early reports say this killing may have been a Valentine’s Day surprise gone wrong.
