Funnyman Billy Connolly had so much trouble learning his lines for a new TV role that he decided to make them up. The Scottish comedian stars in the drama "Gentlemen's Relish" on Britain's BBC1 on New Year's Day but had trouble memorizing his part. He says, "I learn my stuff and, in the morning, I don't know it anymore. I naturally drift off it. "I try very hard but I feel as if I'm doing it right even when I'm doing it wrong. "I behave instinctively. I become the character and say what I think he should say." »
