Dylan Dreyer’s big announcement while on NBC’s Today left her at a loss for words later.
The meteorologist and host for Today’s 3rd Hour appeared alongside her colleagues Craig Melvin, Sheinelle Jones, and Al Roker to share her news.
“Well, this is a very special morning. Not only because of Caitlin Clark’s possible big thing, but we’ve got a big announcement from Dylan,” Roker said as others clapped and cheered.
“Her new bestselling Misty series has the latest installment. This one is called Misty the Cloud: The Thing About Spring,” he said.
Dreyer then spoke about how she loves the Step Into Reading books because her son Calvin is reading them, and another of her sons is close to starting to read them.
She described her latest book as good for kindergarten and first-grade-level readers, as it has simple sentences, simple words, and easy-to-understand concepts.

As the PS5 enters its fourth year, the console is really starting to hit its stride with its game library. Most game studios are finally moving away from cross-generation releases on the PS4, which means we have some truly exciting games coming in 2024 that harness the full capabilities of the PS5 hardware.
2023 set a high standard for PS5 owners with blockbuster games like Diablo 4, Spider-Man 2, Street Fighter 6, and more being launched. Can 2024 match that output, or maybe even surpass it? Here are five games coming to PS5 in 2024 that may just do exactly that.

After Final Fantasy VII Remake shattered almost every expectation of what a remake could be, it feels like a deliberate act of comfort that the first chapter of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is so very familiar: the flashback to Cloud’s last mission with Sephiroth.
It begins with a long truck ride, where we find a young, doe-eyed Cloud doing stretches ahead of helping his hometown of Nibelheim with its monster problem while his team leader, Sephiroth, watches on with detached amusement. The same niceties that resulted in a more detailed Midgar in Remake help paint an even more detailed one of the flashback scene in Rebirth compared to the original Final Fantasy VII. Walking into Nibelheim, Sephiroth is almost a warm, doting presence, genuinely curious about the idea of having a hometown to return to. Cloud himself gets to wander the city, including its alleyways full of stray cats,...

Hotly anticipated after the juggernaut success of Final Fantasy VII in 1997, Final Fantasy VIII, the eighth iteration of the beloved franchise about crystals and cool summons fell into our eager hands only two years later. It was all here, epic Fmv sequences set to Nobuo Uematsu’s rousing score. A story about a school of young mercenaries, tied together by fading memories and the need for heroes against an evil sorceress. An enhanced but familiar battle system, adding in the wrinkle of resource management (drawing power from others to fill your reserves) to help keep the system fresh.
It even featured dual protagonists, for a while dividing our time between the loner mercenary trainee Squall Leonheart and the eager soldier Laguna Loire in a series of background-setting flashbacks. And yet, years later when the scores are tallied and our favorites lined up, Final Fantasy VIII is almost always an unruly stepchild.

Director Dan Brown and actress Jessica Garza spoke about their upcoming film Your Lucky Day and their experiences with the late Angus Cloud in their new uInterview.
Brown, who is the writer and director, explained to uInterview founder Erik Meers how the film focuses on a criminal who steals a lottery ticket from an elderly man at a convenience store, which turns into a hostage situation.
“Things spiral out of control from there, there’s a cop in the back who was in the bathroom,” Brown explained. “And one thing leads to the next and he sort of ends up with this ticket and conspires with Jessica’s character and a couple of other people who were in the store at the same time, the hostages, to put together a story so that maybe he can get away with the money but maybe everyone else can too.”
Garza plays one of these hostages.

“Euphoria” Season 3 has been slated for 2025, HBO boss Casey Bloys announced at a press event Thursday morning.
The Sam Levinson series’ title was shown in a sizzle reel that said “Coming in 2025” alongside “The Last of Us” Season 2, “The White Lotus” Season 3 and the “It” prequel series “Welcome to Derry.”
Not much else has been revealed about the upcoming third season of “Euphoria,” except for Levinson teasing in August that he views the next batch of episodes as a “film noir.” The showrunner said that through the eyes of Zendaya’s Rue, he will “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.”
“Euphoria” stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Angus Cloud, Barbie Ferreira and Dominic Fike as troubled high schoolers caught up in a world of drugs, love and crime.
Eric Dane, Storm Reid, Colman Domingo, Javon Walton, Austin Abrams and Nika King also star.

Before Angus Cloud’s death at age 25 in late July, the Euphoria actor completed work on Daniel Brown’s Your Lucky Day, an intense-looking thriller featuring Cloud as a trivial criminal whose plan to steal a winning lottery ticket spirals out of control. In the Your Lucky Day trailer, Brown depicts how a split decision to seize an opportunity to change your future can turn deadly.
In the promo, Cloud’s desperate character, Sterling, spontaneously decides to rob a lottery winner at a local convenience store. As the conflict intensifies and push comes to shove, Sterling does the unthinkable by killing a rookie cop, landing himself in a position to take hostages or risk incarceration. Angus Cloud is appearing onscreen for one of the last times in heist movie “Your Lucky Day.”
The “Euphoria” star, who died at age 25 in July 2023, leads writer-director-actor Daniel Brown’s feature directorial debut. Cloud plays drug dealer Sterling, who holds a convenience store hostage after he witnesses an older wealthy man win a $156 million lottery. Jessica Garza, Elliot Knight, and Mousa Hussein Kraish play witnesses, with Sterling Beaumon cast as a cop. The film is adapted from writer Brown’s 2010 short film of the same name, with Rider Strong in the role of Sterling.
“I had written the character based on people I had grown up with: guys who sold drugs and would start fights with frat boys or their stepdads, but who were also super protective and loyal to their friends,” Brown told Entertainment Weekly. “[Cloud’s] stories and outlook were so right on for the character, I just had to go for it.

“America doesn’t care how you get your money.” That line serves as a bleak thesis statement for “Your Lucky Day.” The feature debut from writer-director Dan Brown proceeds from the assumption that in America, nothing — not family, not integrity, not your personal safety or the safety of others — is more important than getting rich. And once you are rich, nothing else matters, including how you got that way. You can pay for lawyers to take care of all that, as sensitive stickup kid Sterling (Angus Cloud) tells his hostages early on in the film.

Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has spoken at length about castmember Angus Cloud for the first time since Cloud’s death in July from a lethal mix of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine and benzodiazepines.
“There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented and way too young to leave us so soon,” Levinson said in a statement shortly after the actor’s passing. “He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will. Rest in peace and God Bless his family.”
In a new interview with People, Levinson opened up about Cloud’s struggles with addiction during production and his own struggles to help the actor get clean. Those efforts included multiple interventions and rehab stints.

Angus Cloud’s family and friends are remembering the spirit of the late “Euphoria” actor.
“I don’t think a spirit like his could be defined,” Zendaya told People’s Danielle Bacher in an interview over email. “He was one of the most unique and pure-hearted people I’ve ever met. I hope he knows how loved he is, how much we miss him and how much better the world is for having felt his glow.”
Cloud died on July 31 from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and benzodiazepines, according to the Alameda County Coroner’s Office.
“It was predominantly the central nervous system depressants. It started to slow his heart and slow his breathing,” his mother Lisa said. “He got tired from lack of oxygen. Everything just slowed down, and eventually his heart stopped and he went to sleep. But he didn’t kill himself.”

Writer/Director Dan Brown’s feature debut, Your Lucky Day, elevates a simple concept with palpable tension and intense confrontations. A convenience store at Christmastime transforms into a harrowing battleground when a winning lotto ticket emerges, creating an intense thriller filled with surprise escalations and propulsive action. It’s not just the narrative turns and bleak authenticity that makes Your Lucky Day winsome, but the Christmas caper’s daring commitment to nihilism.

Speaking with Variety, Brown pays tribute to Cloud, who plays a low-level drug dealer who finds himself a tense standoff with police after killing a lottery winner who just discovered he held a winning ticket worth $156 million, in order to take the ticket for himself.
“It’s not really even mine anymore. It’s really for him.”
“I had written the script again and shared it with my wife. While I was out of town on a shoot, she had watched all of ‘Euphoria’, and she said, ‘You know, who should be in your movie? It should be this guy, Angus Cloud,'” Brown recalled.

“I had written the script again and shared it with my wife. While I was out of town on a shoot, she had watched all of ‘Euphoria’, and she said, ‘You know, who should be in your movie? It should be this guy, Angus Cloud,'” Brown recalled.

Daniel Brown has paid tribute to his 'Your Lucky Day' star Angus Cloud. The director is preparing for the release of his movie - which tells the story of a man who wins the lottery but dies shortly after finding out his numbers came up - but admitted it is bittersweet as Angus passed away earlier this year.In the movie, Angus played a drug dealer who held up the lottery winner.Brown told Variety: "I remember listening to an interview where Angus was talking about fame and having a hard time. And I just thought he was such a sweetheart that it would be Ok, that it would work out because he was just so genuinely kind."Maybe because I am a dad, I think about directing a little bit as being a dad to your cast. You’re there to take care of them. So I was imagining the future.

If you can’t take it with you when you go, then where does it end up?
Daniel Brown thought a lot about this before making his upcoming film “Your Lucky Day,” which tells the ironic story of a man who wins the lottery but dies shortly after finding out his numbers hit. First created as short in 2010 starring Rider Strong, the story takes place one Christmas Eve at a corner store called Sip ‘n’ Go, where a white-haired boomer-aged wealthy man wearing a tie stops to scan his lotto tickets. After making brief and somewhat bigoted small talk with the store’s owner Amir (Mousa Hussien Kraish), the machine plays a little jingle, “Winner!! Winner!!” appears on the tiny screen. “What’s the total up to?” the man asks Amir. “$156 million.”

Sydney Sweeney had an amicable relationship with Euphoria actor Angus Cloud who is not among us today, but his memories will definitely live forever.
The 25-year-old Sydney Sweeney came from nowhere and became one of the most loved actors in Hollywood, but unfortunately, life had other plans.
Cloud’s accidental acting career started with HBO‘s popular series Euphoria, and in a very short span of time, he also did two Hollywood movies and had already signed two films for the next year.
With everything going his way, why did Angus choose to go like that? On Monday, the young actor took his life, his family informed the media that he was found dead in his room when they went to see him, Cloud was dealing with some mental issues after his father’s demise in June.
His father was like a best friend to him and the absence of...

On Monday, Hollywood lost a very talented actor at the very young age of just 25. Popular HBO series Euphoria star Angus Cloud passed away on Monday in his home. The young and talented actor rose to fame after his splendid performance in Euphoria as Fezco Fez O’ Neill, a drug dealer.
Cloud’s acting career was a mere coincidence, the young actor was once roaming in the streets of Brooklyn, New York when a casting director noticed him when Cloud was approached for acting, he initially thought that it was some sort of scam but eventually, things fell into place and he was finalized for the role.
Cloud would have never imagined that he would go on to become such a huge star but he achieved a great amount of love and appreciation in his short acting career which could have been really long.

The death of Euphoria‘s Angus Cloud yesterday was a shock to many, and his fellow actors on the HBO series have taken to social media to pay tribute.
Euphoria star Zendaya shared her thoughts on Instagram. “Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor),” Zendaya wrote. “I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it) I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…’they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us.
