Prosper Denton was handing out all of the good advice and hard-earned wisdom on Queen Sugar Season 3 Episode 7.
Let's just hope somebody was listening.
That the Landry's were kicking the tenants off of their leased land for some deceitful purpose certainly didn't come as a shock, but I figured that they were expanding their operation or maybe planning to sell out to some housing development.
I never expected that they were throwing black farmers off of their farms to build a private prison.
Nova, Violet, and Remy were all upset by Charley's plan to work with and infiltrate the Landry's organization, but if she hadn't they wouldn't know anything about this disturbing arrangement until it was too late to stop it.
The question is, can it be stopped even now?

Sometimes you just have to let it hurt, and everyone on Queen Sugar Season 3 Episode 6 seemed to be in pain.
Charley and Micah were at the top of that list thanks to Davis' revelation that he'd fathered another child while still married to Charley.
It was one thing when it was private torment, but now that the entire world knew, it added an extra layer of humiliation.
Worse than that, Charley and Micah weren't talking to one another about it. They should have been leaning on each other, but Charley didn't want to burden Micah with her feelings. What she failed to realize was that doing so could have brought the two closer of them together and made this horrible situation a little less painful.
For his part, Micah was worried about his mother but not in any hurry to share his feelings with Keke.

Ralph Angel and Darla had to break the bad news to Blue on Queen Sugar Season 3 Episode 5, and it was more difficult to watch than expected.
It's soul-crushing to see a small child's heart break right in front of you.
Despite Darla's temporary disappearance, Blue still expected his parents to get married, and nothing but hearing the words from his mother and father were going to quash those hopes.
I'm so sorry for breaking your forever.

But this had to be done for everyone's sake. Ralph Angel and Darla are mature enough to successfully co-parent, even if the rest of the family aren't ready to give Darla another chance.
Violet turning her back on Darla was expected, but Hollywood's silent treatment was more surprising. He's always been the one to see both sides, and he was the first...
