Lucas McCone

Originally from New Zealand and Belgium. Lucas was raised in Dubai. Spending most of his youth competing in tennis. At the age of 14 he moved to Barcelona to continue his training where he reached a World Ranking of 1,543.
At the age of 19 he decided to drop the tennis racket and move into music. He relocated back to Dubai and formed the band 'Vandalye' with his twin brother Thomas and lead singer Scott Attew. The band quickly went onto success as they supported Lionel Richie at the F1 in Abu Dhabi and Elton John at the autism rocks Arena in Dubai. The band then recorded their debut album 'Cigarettes and Minarets' in Hamburg, which is due to be released in 2019 as they have signed a distribution with 'Kontor New Media'
Whilst composing and gigging with the band Lucas was always passionate about film music. In 2018 he was asked to compose the music alongside award winning Joe Najm for the feature film 'Beneath a Sea of Lights' staring Oscar Nominee Barkhad Abdi and critically acclaimed Jim Sarbh.
