On June 27, 2023, “America’s Got Talent” returned with the fifth set of auditions for its 18th season. Host Terry Crews welcomed viewers back to the show alongside judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. But who were the best acts from this episode? And did any move forward that shouldn’t have? Below we rank the 10 acts who advanced from worst to best. Do any of Tuesday’s acts have what it takes to win the million dollars this year?

Heading into Monday’s season finale of “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars,” you would have been gravely mistaken if you thought Kodi Lee had this thing in the bag. In fact, the “AGT” superfans who voted for the winner didn’t even rank the fan-favorite singer, who was born blind and autistic, in their Top 5. When host Terry Crews announced the results during the February 27 finale, it was as if the air was let out of the room. The audience gasped in shock while judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel kindly stood up and applauded his exit.
In case you missed the episode, the Top 5 acts, according to the superfans, were aerialist Aidan Bryant (the winner), saxophonist Avery Dixon (the runner-up), light-up dance group Light Balance Kids (third place) ventriloquist Ana-Maria Mǎrgean (fourth place) and magician Aidan McCann (fifth place).

Fourteen years ago during the eighth season of Fox’s “American Idol,” Simon Cowell was one of the people who judged aspiring singer Adam Lambert on a weekly basis. Even though Simon critiqued Adam early on for being too theatrical, Simon soon became one of his biggest supporters. “Over the entire season, you’ve been one of the best, most original contestants we’ve ever had on the show,” the British judge declared during that show’s 2009 finale. “The hope and whole idea of a show like this is to find a worldwide star, and I truly believe we’ve found that in you.”
Flash-forward to 2023, and the two popular personalities reunited during the season finale of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars.” Simon was seated at the judges’ desk (next to Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel), while Adam was up on the big stage performing his version of “Chandelier...

Are you as surprised as we are that aerialist Aidan Bryant was chosen as the first “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” winner on Monday night. Do you think he deserved to win “AGT: All-Stars” or were you rooting for someone else to take the title? Cast your vote in the poll below and then sound off in the comments section.
When we surveyed viewers before the finale on Feb. 27, they overwhelmingly wanted Kodi Lee to win the first season of this “AGT” spin-off. This inspirational singer, who won the season 14 title, had wowed everyone with his soaring performance of “Biblical” on the final preliminary show.
Lee was one of the four previous “America’s Got Talent” champs to compete on this all-star edition of the NBC programming staple. Among the others was magician Dustin Tavella, who bested Bryant last season on “AGT.” They both competed in the second preliminary round episode, which aired last month.

During Monday’s “Finale Performances” episode of “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars,” Kodi Lee demonstrated why he is the fans’ choice to win the reality TV show. Howie Mandel called him a “hero every day,” Heidi Klum dubbed him the “ultimate all-star,” and Simon Cowell raved that he’s “so cool and so brilliant.”

Earlier this week, Gold Derby conducted a poll asking viewers of “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” to name which of the 11 finalists they’re rooting for to win, and the results are not even close. “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” continued Monday, February 6 with the sixth and final set of 10 performances from some of the most beloved acts in “Got Talent” history. In previous installments, two acts advanced to The Finals per episode, but this week there was only one spot up for grabs. That decision came down to the superfans who chose singer Kodi Lee as the 11th all-star finalist.
Kodi’s selection meant that the nine other performers were eliminated from the competition. In a recent poll, we asked “Who was wrongfully eliminated on February 6?” and though “AGT” fans were split between two top choices, spoken word poet Brandon Leake came out on top as the artist most deserving of a spot in The Finals with 26 of the vote. Just behind him was comedian Josh Blue with 25 and singer Daneliya Tuleshova next with 18.

One of the most popular “America’s Got Talent” winners of all time, Kodi Lee, now has a chance of taking home a second trophy, and it’s all thanks to the superfans. Monday night on “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars,” the singing superstar (who was born blind and autistic), took the stage and belted out the song “Biblical.” After his performance, he got a chance to speak directly to the superfans and he told them, “Help me change the world.” Well, that’s exactly what they did.

Out of the 40 acts to perform in the first round so far, a quarter of them can be considered vocal talents, but only chorale group Detroit Youth Choir has advanced, and that was thanks to a Golden Buzzer from Terry Crews. The nine other singers failed to earn enough votes from the superfans and were eliminated, but why?
Among the singing acts eliminated so far are former Golden Buzzer acts Cristina Rae and Sara James as well as champions of “Canada’s Got Talent” and “Dominica’s Got Talent” Jeanick Fournier and Keren Montero. Both Jeanick and Keren placed within the top three with the superfans on their respective episodes, as did Caly Bevier and Ndlovu Youth Choir. None of...

“America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” continued Monday, January 23 with the fourth set of 10 performances from some of the most beloved acts in “Got Talent” history. Two more acts advanced to The Finals based on those initial performances: Aidan McCann was Heidi Klum‘s Golden Buzzer recipient and Power Duo was voted through by a secret group of superfans. They join Mike E. Winfield and Avery Dixon from the January 16 installment, Detroit Youth Choir and Aidan Bryant from the January 9 episode, and Light Balance Kids and Bello Sisters from the January 2 premiere. Monday’s results left eight all-star acts on the cutting room floor without a chance to be named “Got Talent World Champion.”
We asked “Who was wrongfully eliminated on January 23?” and “AGT” fans agreed in their disbelief that Ndlovu Youth Choir did not advance to The Finals. Despite being one of the top three acts in the superfans vote, the...

Episode 5 of “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” will air Monday, January 30 on NBC, with the fifth set of 10 acts (out of 60 total acts) taking the stage in front of judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum and host Terry Crews. Remember, only two of these 10 contestants will advance to the Finals: one via the judges’ Golden Buzzer (which will be a group decision in Week 5) and one thanks to the “AGT” superfans (whose votes are revealed at the end of the episode). That means the other eight artists will sadly be cut from the competition.
So who’s performing on January 30 on “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars”? NBC has confirmed to Gold Derby the identities of all of the upcoming acts. They are:
Peter Rosalita
Singer from “America’s Got Talent” Season 16
Axel Blake
Comedian from “Britain’s Got Talent” 2022 — Winner
Mandy Harvey

“America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” aired its fourth episode Monday night with 10 more acts performing for a coveted spot in The Finals. The new spin-off series features former “Got Talent” contestants from America and beyond, competing in a seven-week showdown to determine which ultimate all-star will claim the title of “Got Talent World Champion.” Longtime series judges Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum return to the judges’ panel with Terry Crews on stage for hosting duties.
In each of these first rounds, only two acts from each episode will advance to The Finals. One will be hand-selected by one of the judges via the Golden Buzzer and the other is voted through by a collection of superfans from across the country. Last night Aidan McCann earned the Golden Buzzer and Power Duo was voted through to the next round. These acts join Mike E. Winfield, Avery Dixon, Detroit Youth Choir,...

On January 23, “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” continued with the fourth installment of first round episodes featuring performances from 10 fan favorite acts. In this episode, Heidi Klum was given control over the Golden Buzzer, the special button that when pressed sends an act straight through to The Finals. The night featured a handful of performances that underwhelmed the judges and a couple that could have easily been Golden Buzzer choices, but Heidi settled on sending the young magician Aidan McCann through with one hit of the button. Watch the full performance in the video above.
Simon Cowell was the judge already familiar with 13 year old Aidan from his journey on “Britain’s Got Talent” two years ago. He advanced to The Finals, but was eliminated before the top three. Following the show he got to tour the world, interview celebrities, and even performed in Vegas with Shin Lim.

Ndlovu Youth Choir, a fan-favorite chorale group from “America’s Got Talent” Season 14, took the stage during the fourth episode of “AGT: All-Stars” and wowed the judges with their high-energy original song titled “We Will Rise.” The lyrics are about “the resilience of the human spirit,” explained the director of the South African choir. However, despite the audience jumping up to their feet and judge Howie Mandel proclaiming they gave a Golden Buzzer-worthy performance, Ndlovu Youth Choir was shockingly eliminated on Monday night.
“You can overcome your obstacles, your problems … it should never define you,” the choir members declared in a video package prior to stepping out on the stage. “We are excited to be here on ‘AGT: All-Stars.’ We want to show the whole world that anything is possible.”

At the end of the fourth episode of “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars,” Simon Cowell appeared gobsmacked when aerialists Power Duo won the superfan vote over chorale group Ndlovu Youth Choir. In fact, the camera only caught the British judge saying two words after Terry Crews made the announcement: “Wow” and “Unbelievable.”
But that’s the way it goes, Simon. Sadly, the superfan voters on “AGT: All-Stars” can only send one act through to the Finals each week and they clearly liked Power Duo the best. The cruel rule means that many other talented acts will unfortunately be sent home in every episode. The married aerialist couple, who won “Philippine’s Got Talent” 2016, beat out Ndlovu Youth Choir (“AGT” Season 14 finalist) in second place and acrobat Darius Mabda (“Romania’s Got Talent” 2022 winner) in third place.

Prepare to be amazed! On Wednesday, Emily Blunt's mind was blown thanks to kid magician Aidan McCann. During the A Quiet Place 2 star's visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she appeared on the talented 9-year-old's segment "Aidan's Magic Corner," where he showed off his skills with an impressive deck of cards trick and even made a lollipop appear out of thin air. Before diving into the magic, Aidan kicked off the episode with a round of question cards and hosted a mini interview with the Mary Poppins Returns star. After asking Emily to name her favorite place to visit in his home country of Ireland, she replied, "Do you know where I just went? Connemara." Delighted by her response, Aidan...
