The MCU currently has numerous projects in development, both movies and shows, despite Iger’s announcement that their creative output will significantly decrease to 2-3 movies and 2 live-action shows per year.
Many projects were greenlit before the SAG-AFTRA strike and the subsequent failure of several ventures, and now they need to be completed.
One such project is ‘Armor Wars.’ Initially conceived as a movie, it was redeveloped into a show, and now it’s back to being a movie again. According to the production schedule, ‘Armor Wars’ is set to begin filming on January 6, 2025, in Atlanta, USA. Although details about the movie are scarce, the production listing has provided a brief synopsis:

"X-Men '97" has been a dream come true, delivering an even more mature, bold version of the original '90s animated series. Like its predecessor, it directly adapts comic book story arcs, with this show in particular choosing some rather bleak ones.
The season lured us in with the promise of fun nostalgia before shattering that notion with one of the darkest moments in the entire Marvel Studios history with the genocide of mutants in Genosha. This changed everything for the show and for the characters, challenging the very notion of the X-Men, what they stand for, and the legacy of Charles Xavier's work.
But it hasn't all been world-ending threats, the show still has the kind of interpersonal soapy drama fans have always loved from the original. We've got Rogue and (the late) Gambit, Cyclops and the two Jean Greys, with each character in the ensemble getting a chance to shine.

Though not directly responsible for his fellow Avenger’s paralysis below the waist, Sam Wilson aims to clear the air with James “Rhodey” Rhodes in a deleted scene from the Disney+/Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Rhodey as War Machine (played by Don Cheadle) famously got shot down out of the sky during the epic tarmac fight of Captain America: Civil War, when Sam as Falcon (Anthony Mackie) barely dodged an energy blast from Vision’s Mind Stone.

Marvel Studios’ animated series X-Men ’97, created by Beau DeMayo, is a revival of 1992’s successful series X-Men: The Animated Series, which concluded its five-season run in 1997. Picking up where the original series left off, the 2024 series is going to depict X-Men facing challenges following the loss of their leader, Professor X.
X-Men ’97 is the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios since the studios regained the rights to the characters for movies and television. Vice President of Animation at Marvel Studios, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, had mentioned that the people involved with the revival of 1992’s series were fans of the show and knew exactly how the story for the 2024 series would pick up. Brad Winderbaum, however, revealed one of their plans for the series that could probably make fans happy.

The director for X-Men ‘97 teased fans about the possibility of exciting faces showing up at some point in the new season.
The original X-Men: The Animated Series was no stranger to cameos, with a handful of characters showing up for brief stints, including Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Strong Guy, and more.
Those fun appearances weren't limited to the X-Men characters either. Notable heroes such as Captain America, War Machine, Nick Fury, Ms. Marvel, Spider, and more also made fun appearances.

Most of the Marvel fandom has either been a part of or witnessed the everlasting debate about two of its iconic superhero groups, and Marvel Snap is set to settle the argument once and for all in its new update. In February, the digital card game primarily revolved around the Mad Titan Thanos and his support squad, but as the new season is ready for launch this week, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will face off against their Mutant frenemies.
Avengers vs X-Men has always been a hot topic among the comics fanbase, and since the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be taking a bit too long to adapt the massive 2012 crossover event, developer Second Dinner is taking matters into its own hands.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) first appeared in Anthony and Joe Russo's 2016 fight flick "Captain America: Civil War," a film about multiple superheroes sectioning off and fighting one another over the issue of governmental oversight. Those fighting for increased oversight were Iron Man, Black Widow, the Vision, War Machine, Spider-Man, and Black Panther. They faced off against several characters who were fighting on the wrong side of the conflict. Boseman would eventually be given his own solo superhero flick with "Black Panther" in 2018.
It seems, however, that Boseman almost became a different superhero in the same series, which would have seen his MCU debut two years earlier. It seems that when James Gunn was casting his 2014 film "Guardians of the Galaxy," Boseman auditioned for the role of Drax the Destroyer. If you've been holding off on buying any Lego Marvel playsets for fear of starting an addiction that you just can't maintain, we have good news and bad news. The good news is that Lego is releasing what could very well be the mother of all Lego Marvel playsets, featuring a massive modular building in the form of Avengers Tower, complete with one of the biggest lines of minifigures I've ever seen in a Lego set. So in theory, you could buy this Lego set and basically have everything you need as an Avengers fan. The bad news? The new Lego Avengers Tower set is going to set you back a few hundred dollars.

Marvel Studios debuted a new trailer for its upcoming espionage series “Secret Invasion,” starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Also returning among the cast are Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes, a.k.a. War Machine and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos.
“Secret Invasion” also introduces Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman and Kingsley Ben-Adir to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to sources, Ben-Adir is set to play a main villain in the show, which is set to bow June 21 on Disney+.
The new footage debuted April 2 during ESPN’s presentation of a “Sunday Night Baseball” game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Texas Rangers.

As anticipation builds for new Marvel’s “Secret Invasion”, more information is emerging about the upcoming Disney+ series.
Starring Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders, “Secret Invasion” finds Fury heading a covert mission after discovering that shape-shifting Skrulls (the alien race introduced in “Captain Marvel”) have secretly infiltrated all levels of human society in plans of taking over the planet from within.
Also starring in the series are “Game of Thrones” alum and former “The Crown” star Olivia Colman, and a new feature on the show in Vanity Fair reveals they’ll be playing characters on opposite sides of the conflict.
Clarke plays G’iah, daughter of Skrull commander Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn. As Jackson pointed out, this isn’t the character’s first appearance in the MCU. “Remember when Ben was there with his wife and daughter?” Jackson said. “She’s the little Skrull girl grown up. She’s his daughter.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion is bringing paranoia in the MCU to a new level. The upcoming series finds Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) joining the Skrulls to find the alien race a new planet before an extremist group can wipe them out and infiltrate the people Fury has dedicated his life to protecting. In an in-depth interview with Vanity Fair, Jackson spoke about Secret Invasion in ways we haven’t heard before, revealed the identity of Emilia Clarke’s mysterious character, and more.
Before we get started, the Skrulls are an alien race who can perfectly simulate any human being at will. This ability makes them the ultimate weapon in infiltration and a threat to humankind. They could be anyone at any time. Your friends. Your neighbors. Your partners. They’re everywhere. Fury knows Earth is facing a threat unlike anything ever, and there’s almost no one he...

If you remember the ad campaigns for Avengers: Infinity War, the commercials promised a very different climax. The trailer showed a team of heroes running along the fields of Wakanda, wading into battle against the hordes of Thanos. Led by Captain America and T’Challa, they rushed into the fight, joined by Okoye, Bucky, Black Widow, War Machine, and the Hulk. And yet, when audiences sat down to watch the climactic fight scene, they didn’t see the Hulk among them. Rather, it was Bruce Banner in Hulkbuster armor.
The armor was the result of a subplot throughout the Phase Three capping film, in which Hulk refused to come out after getting brutally beaten by Thanos at the start of Infinity War. Throughout the movie, Banner argues with “the other guy,” trying to Hulk out to help his fellow Avengers. For reasons that only make sense to Kevin Feige, the...

Don Cheadle has been a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for nearly 12 years as James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine, but the MCU isn’t the only franchise the actor has under his belt. Cheadle starred as explosives expert Basher Tarr opposite George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt in Steven Soderbergh’s “Ocean’s Eleven” trilogy between 2001 and 2007. While the 2001 installment is universally beloved, the far more comedic “Ocean’s Twelve” proved divisive with fans. Cheadle recently told GQ magazine that fans often come up to him to bash “Ocean’s Twelve” to his face.
“When we came back to do the second film, we hadn’t seen each other for a long time,” Cheadle said. “We hadn’t all been together. We were just reuniting, so we were just milling around for an hour and then we realized, ‘Oh wait, we’re actually here to shoot something.’”

Don Cheadle had to block out the white noise when it came to joining the MCU.
The Oscar nominee was cast as the replacement for Terrence Howard’s character Lt. James Rhodes (aka War Machine) in the “Iron Man” sequel. Cheadle went on to appear in seven Marvel movies, plus the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and “What If…?.”
Yet, Cheadle is now revealing how he committed to the MCU before “Iron Man 2” in 2010.

This is going to happen very fast,'” Cheadle recalled to GQ. “‘Why don’t you take an hour and decide if you want to do it.'”

This post contains spoilers for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Where are the Avengers? For fans of shared universe stories, that question can get very annoying very fast. It makes sense for those new to the concept to wonder about the whereabouts of other characters, but for long-term fans, the answer is simple: someplace else.
Too much worrying about what Thor is doing while Doctor Strange fights Scarlet Witch or why Ant-Man never helped Shang-Chi stop the bus rampaging through San Francisco distracts from the main hero’s story. Just enjoy Doctor Strange and Spidey and let other heroes worry about themselves.
That said, it does make sense for characters to cross paths at certain events, such as the funeral for Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame, attended by all major heroes, including T’Challa. As impressive as that scene certainly was, it has nothing on the funeral scene from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

It's hard to call an actor like Don Cheadle "underrated" given how long he's been active in the film industry. However, it feels like Cheadle isn't often recognized for what an incredible cinematic chameleon he is. Whether he's trading quips with Robert Downey Jr. in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, popping up in prestige dramas, or playing key supporting roles as part of sprawling ensemble casts, Cheadle has an incredible versatility to him.
Although Cheadle has been working since the 1980s, he's reached new levels of fame in the 21st century. In addition to delivering award-worthy performances in theaters and on comedy shows like "House of Lies" and "Black Monday," he's stepped into the directorial chair for his debut feature, "Miles Ahead." You'd be hard-pressed to find another actor who's able to create a performance like his Oscar-nominated turn in "Hotel Rwanda," and then pivot to hilariously reinvent Captain Planet like...
