Every year there seems to be a new blood-soaked battle shonen series that claims to break barriers and redefine what’s possible in an ongoing action anime. Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Chainsaw Man have all caused shockwaves in the anime community that are still being felt today and the common factor between these eclectic hits is that they all relish heightened action that practically equates combat with gory massacres.
