*Spoilers* Now that Chucky Season 3 finale has aired, I'm excited to share my chat with Brad and Fiona Dourif, who talk about sharing scenes as Charles Lee Ray, the evolution of Chucky in Season 3, and more!
It was so great to see the two of you on screen together as Charles Lee Ray. What was the experience like on set for the both of you?
Brad Dourif: I got to scold my kid. I got to tell her what to do and how she should be doing things... [Laughs] When Fiona started out, we both did auditions together. So part of it was like, "I'm back in my living room." It was very freeing and fun.
Fiona Dourif: I was nervous about it and then when we were actually shooting, it was just pure joy. I remember after we finished, I thanked Don [Mancini] from the bottom of my heart, "Thank...

Chucky, the iconic psychopathic doll with a taste for blood, has seen some competition on his corner. In the past year alone, dancing AI Dolls, giant animatronics, and the return of the tricycle-riding clown have offered stiff competition. Yet there’s only one red-headed monster known for his comedy, his oddly progressive nature, and, of course, his super violent kills. Chucky returns for the second half of its third season and, once again, proves his dark comedy fits best on television.
Chucky Season 3 Plot
After infiltrating the White House, Chucky (Brad Dourif) continues his reign of terror. In Part 1, he already butchered multiple SNL cast members and took out high-ranking Secret Service officials. However, Chucky loses favor with his deity of choice, Damballa, causing him to age rapidly. As the Chuckster tries to stop this process, his love Tiffany Valentine – possessing the body of Jennifer Tilly – awaits execution. Nica Pierce...

Previously on f***ing "Chucky," everyone's favorite serial killer-possessed doll kickstarted a reign of havoc throughout New Jersey, and it was up to a group of meddling teens to stop him. Creator Don Mancini first brought Charles Lee "Chucky" Ray to audiences in 1988 with "Child's Play," and the pint-sized slasher franchise has grown to seven films and now three seasons of television. Mancini has been at the helm through it all, evolving the series every step of the way. And now, season 3 of the USA and Syfy "Chucky" series is taking things one step further in the wildest season yet.
Brad Dourif continues to dazzle and destroy as the titular doll, and "Chucky" is as gruesome, raucous, campy, and decidedly envelope-pushing as ever — both in substance and style. Season 3 is unfortunately split into two parts, but the first half — consisting of four episodes — continues the seasonal tradition that Halloween isn't...

For the past 30-plus years, Chucky has been slicing and dicing his way through cinemas, slinging fresh zingers for every bloody body that dropped. Now the pint-sized red-head with a thirst for carnage is making his small-screen debut, and his latest teenaged victims have no idea what they’re in for.
In Tuesday’s premiere, a bullied young teen named Jake Wheeler (Zachary Arthur) becomes Chucky’s new Bff, and though life has been hard on the boy, he probably didn’t think it could get any worse. Much worse. Although none of the films’ returning players have popped up...

Note: With the film finally hitting DVD and Blu-ray, here’s a repost of our review of Mom and Dad from its cinema release back in March.
“My parents are going to kill me”. That’s a standard line from any number of teen movies, but it’s taken literally in this glorious comic horror from writer-director Brian Taylor (the Crank franchise), here reuniting with star Nic Cage after Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
True to Taylor’s frenetic style, Mom and Dad wastes no time in getting down to business. An unexplained epidemic has caused every parent to have violent, murderous impulses towards their own children, despite remaining seemingly normal in all other aspects. After a...

Tagline: "Every Family Tree Hides a Secret." It has been awhile since a very tense horror trailer has come this way. Debuting at the Sundance Film Festival (Jan. 21st), the trailer for Palmstar Media's Hereditary is a shocking one. The film stars: Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense, 1999), Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd, and Zachary Arthur. In the clip, a family struggles to cope, after the death of their matriarch. The result is a very confusing world. A preview of the film's upcoming U.S. theatrical release is hosted here. The trailer provides a small glimpse at the strange story. It shows characters and animals brutalized, by an invisible force. The synopsis mentions a reclusive grandmother, who casts a "dark shadow (A24)" over the family. Her presence can still be felt as Annie (Collette) struggles to raise her daughter, Charlie (Shapiro). Hereditary will see several theatres this Summer.

"She wasn't all together, there... at the end." A24 has debuted the first trailer for the acclaimed horror film Hereditary, which just premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to some of the best buzz of the fest. From writer/director Ari Aster, the film is about a close family that starts to unravel following the death of their reclusive grandmother. As an overwhelming terror takes over their household, their peaceful existence is ripped apart, forcing their mother to explore a darker realm in order to escape the unfortunate fate they've inherited. Toni Collette stars, along with Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd, and Zachary Arthur. This horror is about how a terrifying presence can pass down through the family, and it's apparently thrilling not because of jump scares, but through all the "unspeakable" horror it presents. This is an outstanding first trailer, definitely promising a freaky, terrifying film...
