- Nadia Ibrahim is a 2016 Drama Alumni from the Kentucky Center's Governors' School for the Arts (GSA), a competitive three-week art intensive program during the summer only offered to apply for by the rising juniors & seniors in high school across the state of Kentucky. The applicants were required to submit two essays following the guidelines of the art form(s) they were applying to: Architecture and Design, Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Intramental Music, Musical Theatre New Media, & Vocal Music. Drama applicants were also required an in-person group audition consisting of performing a monologue, interview, and other activities to determine acceptance into the summer program. In 2016, over 2,000 across KY auditioned for GSA - only 256 admitted a year - 500 alone for drama with only 34 students accepted per year.
- Nadia attended YMCA Camp Ernst summer camp in Burlington KY as a camper for 7 years beginning a the age of 8 in where every year she'd spend 3-4weeks straight at the week long type of camp and confirms that she would not be the person she is today without this camp. In 2009 she received her Honor Camper cup; being the first time in her life she had ever felt accepted for who she was. As a camper, Nadia had spent in total 26weeks of her life at this camp, following that she joined the crew and the year after started working for the camp as an E-teamer; following, Junior Counselor and this year as an Assistant Counselor. After this summer she will have spent 42 weeks at this camp in the period of 11 years and she wouldn't have it any other way.

- Enjoys computer programming immensely.
- Was the only girl on the chess team for almost the entirety of Elementry School.

- After watching Jack Black's infamous 'eyebrow wave' in the beloved movie "School of Rock", Nadia made it her mission since the 2nd grade to be able to achieve the same talent. She is proud to report her accomplishment of this goal on her resume today.
- Has Voluntary Nystagmus or "Dancing Eyes" - the ability to shake her eyes very fast from side to side at will. A useless party trick.
- Nadia's Mother, Brother, and Brother's parents-in-law all hold PhDs and all but her mother have a Medical Degree. All of those family members including her sister-in-law, attended Ivy League institutions and Graduate Schools. Nadia is the only member of her family pursuing a career in the arts and entertainment industry - she has struggled with the notion that her life course doesn't actually need higher education like her other family members in order to be successful, wrestling that this somehow meant her aspirations were somehow lesser than her family's; Nadia has overcome this negative notion and will still be pursuing education for her art form and herself (coming from a well educated family, Nadia does love obtaining and appreciating the importance of knowledge).
- Following in her brother's footsteps Nadia played the Cornet (a smaller more compact Trumpet) in concert band all through middle school and spent the two years following in the Marching Band as well as the Jazz Band.
- Named her dog Cleo, like Cleopatra, at the age of 11 because she loves her Egyptian roots.
- Nadia's father is from Egypt, making her half-Egyptian.
- Has a half-brother whom with she shares the same birthday at 10 years and 3hours exactly apart.
- Dressed as a tomboy from all of 3rd grade to 7th grade, wearing clothes bought from the boy's sections of stores and hating 'girl' conventions for clothing to the point that in the 4th grade she played someone's father in the school play because she refused to wear a dress.
