Forty years ago, Charles Bronson starred in a serial killer thriller called 10 to Midnight. Now Bronson look-alike Robert Bronzi has taken the lead in a thriller called 12 to Midnight… but Bronzi is going to have to face off with a supernatural threat in this one. The villain in 12 to Midnight is a werewolf!
Currently filming in California and the coal regions of northeast Pennsylvania, 12 to Midnight is being directed by Mark Savage (Purgatory Road) from a screenplay he crafted with Joe Knetter, producer Jeff Miller, and cast member Tom Parnell. Based on a story by Miller, the film concerns a detective, kicked off the force and despondent after the murder of his wife drives him to drink, who is asked back to the force when a new string of murders seem connected to his wife’s, and the killer appears to be taunting him. Only the killer may be superhuman,...

Writer, director and musician Rene Perez has carved out a career in the mainstream as a genre filmmaker whose sensibilities air on the side of “guns, gore and boobs” – his films don’t shy away from the violence, nudity and plenty of blood and guts. He found success with genre fans with the Playing With Dolls films and then hit more of the mainstream with Death Kiss – the Death Wish homage that starred Charles Bronson lookalike Robert Bronzi. However, Perez has also focused on films that have heavy Christian/right-wing leanings but still throw in plenty of violence etc. unlike the stereotypical “preachy” nature of typical Christian movies; films like the recently released The Legend of Hawes, which mixed faith-based filmmaking with Texas Chainsaw Massacre style backwoods horror.

Stars: Robert Bronzi, Elizabeth McNally, Anna Liddell, Sarah Alexandra Marks, Steven Berkoff, Nicola Wright, Simon Furness, Ben Parsons, Nicole Nabi | Written by Jeff Miller, Matthew B.C. | Directed by Scott Jeffrey, Rebecca Matthews
As Exorcist Vengeance opens a woman lays bleeding in the street as Father Jozsef performs her last rites before barking at the onlookers “Which way did he go?” and chasing down the criminal responsible and shooting him even after he’s on the ground, thereby justifying the “Death Wish meets The Exorcist” line in the film’s press release.
Meanwhile, a wealthy old woman Agnes (Elizabeth McNally) starts talking in the voice of the possessed before slitting her throat with a letter opener, something that looks like smoke passing from her to her servant Magda (Anna Liddell; Deadly Waters) as she dies. And it isn’t long before Magda is talking in the same voice and attacking Edna’s granddaughter Rebecca.

Lionsgate has unveiled a trailer a so-bad-it's-good B-movie home invasion thriller called The Gardener, from the filmmaking duo Scott Jeffrey & Rebecca Matthews - known for all kinds of low budget, direct-to-dvd movies that you will never want to watch anyway. An immigrant living a quiet life as a gardener at a manor house in England has to rely on old skills to save the family he works for from home invaders. The small crew attacks the family, but "they didn't count on the estate's quiet gardener, Peter Juhasz, who must return to the savage ways he learned as a soldier to save the family." The film stars Robert Bronzi (from Death Kiss and Escape from Death Block 13 - who looks a lot like Charles Bronson) as "The Gardener", along with Gary Daniels, Sarah T. Cohen, Nicola Wright,...

Bronzi is back! This time the Hungarian actor Robert Bronzi, known for his eerie resemblence to Charles Bronson, takes on a serial killer in Rene Perez's indie horror flick Cry Havoc. We mean it when we say takes on a serial killer. Whatch the trailer because Bronzi throws down with the serial killer called Havoc. I don't recall ever seeing someone brawl a serial killer in a horror flick before. At least look like they're winning, like Bronzi does in this trailer. Cry Havoc premieres On Demand on May 5th. It's just so crazy it might work. Robert Bronzi, the star of Death Kiss and Once Upon a Time in Deadwood, faces his deadliest opponent yet in Cry Havoc – available this...

The Face of Death is back…sort of. Robert Bronzi, the direct-to-video delight who looks just like Charles Bronson, is back in another low-budget genre movie. This time? Once Upon a Time in Deadwood , and no, it’s totally unrelated to Deadwood.
Starring as The Colonel, Bronzi is a no-nonsense, yet stylish six-shooter. Dressed to kill in all-black, Colonel is the anti-hero in demand in 1880s “Utah Territory”. Opening with raw gunfight, we immediately recognise Colonel as the man to reckon with, and a man with a vengeful cause. Subsequently, however, Colonel has the initial misfortune of encountering the beautiful, yet sly, Ursula (Karin Brauns). In slight homage to Escape from New York, Colonel is...

One look at Robert Bronzi and a lot of people have to look again since the resemblance to another famous star that a lot of us remember is simply uncanny. In fact that has a lot to do with how he was finally noticed and given a chance to show what he could do as an actor. As a younger man it sounds as though his idea of a good time was going to the cinema and imagining himself being on the screen as one of the heroes that would be out to take down the bad guy and ride

I’ve got a trailer to share with you today for an upcoming western called Once Upon a Time in Deadwood, and I can’t tell if its supposed to be funny or serious. I think it’s serious, and the fact that it’s serious makes it even more funny.
The story follows “a notorious gunslinger who is slipped a slow-acting poison by an heiress and told he has three days to track down and rescue her sister, who has been kidnapped by a band of hoodlums and holds the antidote.”
The gunslinger is played by Charles Bronson look-a-like actor Robert Bronzi (Death Kiss) and it also stars Michael Pare (Streets of Fire), who is the villain. Rene Perez directs from his screenplay, and the movie was filmed in California as well as in Western Leone, near Almeria, Spain, site of much of the filming of the famous Sergio Leone...

As if having one of his films, Playing With Dolls, released in the UK as Leatherface wasn’t bad enough (though not his decision but rather the UK distributors), Rene Perez has gone all out with his latest movie, in “homaging” other exploitation films – in this case Charles Bronson and Death Wish – with Death Kiss. Perez’s latest film features Charles Bronson doppelganger Robert Bronzi (here billed as Robert Kovacs), who previously appeared in another Rene Perez film From Hell to the Wild West, as a vigilante with a mysterious past who goes to a crime-infested city and takes the law into his own hands, trying to rid the city of crime whilst at the same time protecting a young mother and her child.
