Jim Bedinger
- Writer
My scripts:
Before I learned that I loved to write, I had worked as a farmhand, lumberjack, janitor, Free University facilitator, hippie locksmith, baker in an organic bakery, orderly, EMT, registered nurse, photographer, dishwasher, medical photographer, audiovisual producer, and technical+customer support agent. My brilliant wife and our daughter (a writer herself) give superb feedback on my writing. I was mentored through the thriller feature script, An Admired Life, by Ric Reitz. Ric also mentored me in the creation of my pitch deck for my comedy feature script, God's Pants.
- Maximum Doubt, A puzzling & chilling dark sci-fi murder mystery feature. (Writing is in progress.): In a near-future setting, a young man digs in to solve the mysterious murder of his brother. Almost immediately, he's in much deeper and at greater risk than he could ever imagine.
- God's Pants, comedy feature: God, visiting earth as an African American woman, gives an unusual 10-hour gift to a young Latina and it leads to a WHOLE LOT of trouble.
- An Admired Life, thriller feature: Wife of an idolized man disappears and a life and death struggle ensues. There's much more going on than meets the eye.
- CONNECTIONS, comedy pilot: A former star attempts to reengage with the television/movie industry that now ignores him.
