Chris Jones-Hansen
- Writer
- Producer
Chris started out way back as a junior content designer at The Naked News, before being swept into the dotcom boom as a Bay Street copywriter. Moonlighting as a writer for indie games and small films, his work caught notice at Starfield Studios in 2003.
There he wrote for the original Starhunter series in Season Two and continued in periodic digital consulting for the company and as a writer various films and series in development. Starhunter came back in 2017 and Chris worked with Nelu Ghiran, and Philip Jackson in updating the show, and undoing the censorship that had affected the original series on all 44 episodes. The new property was released as Starhunter REDUX, and premiered across the USA in 2018-2019 on the El Rey Network.
A techno-optimist, he freelances for IPTV and VR gaming startups, who refer to him as "an angry Douglas Adams" for his tendency to rewrite modern doubt and fear into fun times.
