Kevin Feige has been shepherding the MCU since its inception in the late 2000s and came out guns blazing with the first Iron Man in 2008. The MCU soon expanded over the years, and more characters started to populate the narrative and make the universe layered and interconnected.

Despite Kevin Feigeʼs tireless efforts to keep the cogs of the megalomaniacal Marvel universe running, some of the products like the star-studded Eternals come out a bit worse for the wear and bear the brunt of the fans who remain dejected with the performance of the Phase Four era.
The quality of projects originating in the post-Endgame saga of the MCU have performed categorically worse in the recent past. Regardless, not many original projects coming out of that Phase have received the sequel treatment.

Moreover, the studioʼs stagnating state of work neither shows improvement nor the desire to achieve it, making it difficult to accept Marvelʼs decision regarding a Phase Four film sequel.

The heroic character of Jon Snow in HBO’s Game of Thrones is played by the iconic actor Kit Harington. He is also known for starring in MCU’s Eternals as Black Knight aka Dane Whitman. Although he plays such heroic roles, Harington is, after all, a simple human being… with some weird habits.

One of the weird habits that Kit Harington seems to have is as hilarious as it is random. With Harington believing that it is an Italian tradition, the actor and Jimmy Fallon could not control their laughter during his interview!

The fact that there was going to be a Blade reboot as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe came as a huge surprise when the announcement was made at the San Diego Comic-Con back in July of 2019 – but all these years later, we’re still waiting on the film to make its way into production. In fact, with Bob Iger recently announcing that the studio was cutting back (even more) on Marvel stuff, Blade’s future seems in limbo. So, here’s Everything We Know About Blade.

The Game of Thrones star Kit Harington shaded his good guy persona in his latest film, Blood for Dust. He had a white character in the HBO series and the Marvel movie Eternals, but the actor reportedly got bored of playing the hero and wanted to be a bad guy. But why was he done being a hero on screen? Keep scrolling to know more.
Kit became famous after appearing as Jon Snow in the HBO series based on George Rr Martin’s books. He was part of the main cast and one of the leading actors. By the end, he was romantically paired opposite Emilia Clarke, who made her MCU debut last year with Disney+’s Secret Invasion. Kit made his MCU debut with 2021’s Eternals, in which he played the role of Dane Whitman.

Kit Harington found worldwide fame and love for portraying the character of Jon Snow in the iconic HBO series Game of Thrones. Portraying the character for 8 seasons, Harington had quite a tough time adjusting to the normal world.
The character of Jon Snow is a hero through and through and Harington had quite fun while making the series. In a recent interview, however, the Eternals actor revealed that portraying heroic roles is “hard’ and that’s why he wants to play “f-cked up” characters now!

Kit Harington became part of the MCU as Dane Whitman/Black Knight in ‘Eternals’ in 2021. Despite the mixed reviews of the movie, fans embraced Harington’s character and are eager to see more of him in future projects.
Whitman and Sersi had a relationship before the Deviants attacked. However, it ended when Whitman learned that she was actually an Eternal. By the end of the movie, Whitman began his own journey when he accepted and started using the Ebony Blade.
It’s natural to expect Whitman to return alongside the other Eternals. However, rumors have circulated in recent weeks that the planned ‘Eternals’ sequel was canceled and possibly being reworked into something else entirely.
Harington’s Whitman has been linked to the upcoming ‘Blade’ reboot. One reported plot point suggests that the Ebony Blade will play a major role in the movie, with the title itself referencing both the blade and the notable vampire hunter.

Kit Harington joined the MCU as a character Dane Whitman/ Black Knight with the release of ‘Eternals’ back in 2021. Even though the movie generally received mixed reviews, fans loved Harington’s character and couldn’t wait to see him in more projects.
Whitman and Sersi had a relationship before the Deviants struck, but that obviously fell through when Whitman discovered that she was in fact an Eternal. Whitman developed his own story by the end of the movie when he accepted and started wielding Ebony Blade.
It’s natural to expect that Whitman will reprise his role along with the rest of the Eternals, however in recent weeks the rumors have been spreading that the planned ‘Eternals’ sequel was canceled and then, that it’s being reworked into something else entirely.

After its release, ‘Eternals’ signaled a shift in the MCU. Despite mixed reviews and poor box office performance, it was praised as ambitious yet occasionally disjointed, introducing numerous elements that weren’t further explored.
While some viewers found it refreshing and enjoyed its blend of cosmic and mythological themes, others felt it fell short of expectations.
Some time back, rumors suggested that the potential sequel for ‘Eternals’ was canceled and no longer in progress. However, other rumors hinted that the project has been revamped into something else entirely, possibly still featuring the full cast of characters. Now, well-known leaker MyTimeToShineHello shares a significant update regarding Ikaris. It’s been suggested that Ikaris isn’t truly deceased and will make a return “sooner than we think.”

Marvel has numerous upcoming projects slated for release in the coming years. However, many of these projects have faced delays or cancellations due to the recent SAG-AFTRA strike, which affected the entire industry.
One highly anticipated Marvel Studios project that encountered issues even before the strike is the ‘Blade’ reboot. This movie, set in the MCU, follows Eric Brooks, a prominent vampire hunter in comics. It serves as a reboot of the beloved ‘Blade’ trilogy, which played a significant role in shaping the MCU as we know it today.
Very little information is available about the ‘Blade’ movie, except that Mahershala Ali initiated the project and will portray the main character, a vampire hunter. Initially, the story was said to revolve around his daughter. Recent rumors suggested that the movie might not be set in a specific historical period anymore, and filming relocated from Atlanta to London.

Marvel has plenty of projects bound to be released in the next few years, and we know that most of these projects have been stuck in a sort of limbo due to the historic SAG-AFTRA strike that paralyzed the whole industry as a whole, causing plenty of projects to be both delayed or altogether canceled.
One extremely anticipated Marvel Studios project that had problems way before the strikes began is ‘Blade.’ It is an McU-based movie following Eric Brooks, the most notable vampire hunter in comics, and a reboot of the already highly popular ‘Blade’ trilogy that contributed to paving the way for the MCU that we know today.
Next to nothing is known about the ‘Blade’ movie besides the fact that Mahershala Ali proposed the project and will be playing the titular vampire hunter and that the story was supposed to focus on his daughter. Then the recent rumors...

Marvel’s Moon Knight followed Oscar Isaac in the first season as he played a man suffering from dissociative identity disorder (Did) who not only has multiple personalities or ‘alters’, but also serves as a vessel for the Egyptian god Khonshu. Since Isaac’s Marc Spector / Moon Knight was first introduced in the MCU almost two years ago, many fans have been wondering if Jeremy Slater’s miniseries will ever see the release of a second season.
In October 2022, the Show Me a Hero actor, 44, revealed that he had begun talks with Marvel Studios about reprising his role as Moon Knight, either in a sequel series or in a different project. Isaac was concerned about creating a “worth telling” and “interesting” backstory for his character.

This post contains spoilers for Madame Web.
There are exactly two good things in Madame Web. No, it’s not the meme-worthy line about moms and Amazons, which doesn’t even appear in the movie. Neither is it all of the winks toward Peter Parker nor the young female Spider-heroes who (spoiler) have only two brief scenes in costume.
No, one good thing in Madame Web is the old-school Marvel logo that opens the film. The simple flipping of comics pages that dissolves into the big red block with the word “Marvel” in white font, before MCU movies replaced it with their busy fanfare.
The other good thing happens at the end of the movie. Or rather, it doesn’t happen. Because after Madame Web‘s closing scene, a very stupid looking close-up on Cass Web’s blank face, played by the ever-wooden Dakota Johnson, credits roll and that’s it.

Four and a half years have passed since Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige announced that a new Blade was in the works, with Mahershala Ali (Leave the World Behind) on board to play the title character. It has been a bumpy ride for the project ever since. It has passed through the hands of multiple screenwriters – Stacy Osei-Kuffour (PEN15), Michael Starrbury (When They See Us), True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto, Beau DeMayo (The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf). It had a director in Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli). Tariq cast Delroy Lindo (Get Shorty) and Aaron Pierre (Old) alongside Ali – then he dropped out due to “scheduling issues”, and the character Pierre would have been playing was apparently written out of the story. Yann Demange (White Boy Rick) signed on to direct the film, Mia Goth (Pearl) was cast, possibly as the villain Lilith, and Blade was just weeks away from...

The first look at upcoming horror-thriller What Remains of Us has arrived, with a promotional still showing a short-haired Kit Harington wielding an ax and looking ominously in the distance. Considering the plot, this can’t point to anything good…
As per Arclight Films, What Remains of Us has the following synopsis: “Set deep in rural England, the film is framed from the point of view of Harington’s character’s 10-year-old daughter (Caoilinn Springall). Behind the walls of her family’s isolated, fortified compound, she begins to question her unusual life. She discovers that once a month her father turns into a monster. Her parents say the monster is nothing to be afraid of but when the monster escapes, the girl has to confront the harsh reality of her father’s identity and make a life-altering decision.” Kit Harington plays father to Springall (The Midnight Sky), while Ashleigh Cummings plays the mother.

Baby Ruby is a horror movie written and directed by Bess Wohl starring Noémie Merlant and Kit Harington.
This is a suprise in her debut as a suspense and horror film director that makes one thing clear: She knows how to direct.
Excellent rhythm and tension.

Even though Agents of Shield and its loose connections to the Marvel Cinematic Universe seem to be a thing of the past, there still might be a chance for fan favorite characters to return if the circumstances are right. We’ve already seen Anson Mount reprise his role as Black Bolt from the short-lived Inhumans series in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and thanks to the ever-expanding multiverse of the MCU it could be only a matter of time before we see other fan-favorite characters appear.
Gabriel Luna, known for playing Roberto “Robbie” Reyes a.k.a Ghost Rider in Agents of Shield, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s open to returning to the role, saying “It’s wonderful that people love Robbie and grew to love him as much as I did. I’m always open to telling a good story. So if it all...

Although Eternals introduced some significant new elements to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the rest of the franchise hasn’t yet picked up the threads the movie left dangling. One of those threads involved the introduction of Eros, aka Starfox, an Eternal and brother of Thanos. Harry Styles played the role in the mid-credits scene of Eternals, but some have wondered if we’re ever going to see Starfox again.
While speaking with Deadline, Eternals producer Nate Moore confirms that there are more stories to be told with Harry Styles as Starfox. “We didn’t cast Harry for a tag, There’s more stories to be told with [Eros],” Moore said. “He’s a complicated character, but a really fun character. And I think, having met Harry Styles, he is as charming as you want him to be. And I think there’s no limit to how good that character’s going...

Kit Harington is giving fans a hint as to where HBO's Jon Snow spinoff of "Game of Thrones" will pick up the story with everyone's favorite broody King in the North. Speaking at the official "Game of Thrones" convention on Dec. 11, Harington spoke about Jon's ending, and though he didn't mention the spinoff by name, he pointed toward where the show could pick up.
"Game of Thrones" viewers probably don't need a reminder of the show's controversial ending, but season eight wrapped up with Jon Snow deciding he wasn't going to try to claim the Iron Throne, despite the fact that he was a Targaryen by birth, served as the King in the North, and had a claim to the seat. Instead, after assassinating Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) - who was his lover, his aunt, and his queen - he went to live in the North, beyond the Wall, with...

Marvel's "Blade" has just found its director (again). Deadline is now reporting that "Lovecraft Country" director and "White Boy Rick" filmmaker Yann Demange will step in to replace Bassam Tariq, who was originally slated to direct the film but stepped down in September. The movie looks to be getting a pretty big revamp, as the outlet also reports that a new screenwriter is on board. Michael Starrbury, whose writing credits include "Colin in Black & White" and the masterful fourth episode of Ava DuVernay's series "When They See Us," is reportedly set to pen a new script for the film.
Furthermore, The Hollywood Reporter says that "Blade" still plans to make its current release date of September 6, 2024, which was moved from its original 2023 release date after Tariq's exit. At the time, the studio cited "continued shifts in our production schedule" as the first director's reason for leaving in a statement to THR.

Marvel Studios’ “Blade,” starring Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, has found its new director in Yann Demange.
The “Lovecraft Country” and “White Boy Rick” director takes the reins of the vampire slayer movie from Bassam Tariq, who exited the production in September. He will direct from a brand new script by Emmy nominee Michael Starrbury, which is said to be “darker than most MCU movies.”
After Tariq’s departure from the project, which was set to begin production in November, Marvel Studios focused on revamping the story and putting the right team in place, ultimately entering negotiations with Demange. Starrbury also replaces screenwriter Stacy Osei-Kuffour who was originally tapped to write the film’s script.
Last month, Disney delayed “Blade” from its planned Nov. 3, 2023, release date to Sept. 6, 2024, following the production pause. With Demange in place, production on the film, which also stars Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre, is set to resume in Atlanta next year.

Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) had been attached to direct Blade for Marvel Studios for more than a year, but he wound up stepping down in September, leaving Marvel to push pause on pre-production while they searched for a replacement. It turns out that the search didn’t take all that long as Yann Demange (White Boy Rick) has signed on to direct Blade.
When Marvel Studios decided to pause pre-production on Blade, they realized the project needed a more in-depth creative overhaul than they suspected. This meant tossing out the script from previous writer Stacy Osei-Kuffour (Watchmen) and starting from scratch. Michael Starrbury (When They See Us) has now been brought on to write a brand-new script for Blade, with sources saying that star Mahershala Ali was “personally involved” in selecting the new writer. Production on Blade is expected to kick off in Atlanta in 2023, with the film set for a September 6, 2024 release.

Kit Harington entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Dane Whitman in Eternals. While his role wasn’t the biggest, it set the character up to become the Black Knight somewhere down the line. The post-credit scene of Eternals involved Dane Whitman finding the Ebony Blade, but so far there’s been no indication of when Kit Harington will be back.
While speaking with THR, Kit Harington said that he knew that his character might a future in the franchise from the very start. “I kind of knew that that might be a possibility,” Harington said. “I wasn’t that interested in rocking up in a Marvel movie just to play someone’s boyfriend. I knew of some future possibilities, so that’s always been part of the conversation. But like with anything, you don’t really know. We have not, it seems, seen the last of Sersi and the gang, as the Eternals are going to appear again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The question is, when will they show up? And, perhaps more importantly, where are they going to show up? We will get into some speculation and analysis but first, let's go over precisely what we know.
Producer Nate Moore recently spoke with the folks at Comicbook.com, and amazingly enough, he was pretty straightforward when asked whether or not 2021's "Eternals" was the end of the line for those characters. "I don't want to spoil anything, but we have not seen the last of those characters," Moore said. So there we have it!
That answer does, however, leave much to be desired. Moore is incredibly unspecific. Not only does he not mention any specific projects or a timeline, but he doesn't touch on any specific characters,...

Kevin Feige knows how to give a spectacular presentation. But one of his most memorable moments was at the end of the 2019 MCU panel at Comic-Con, when Feige interrupted what appeared to be a closing celebration to bring out Mahershala Ali. The Academy-Award-winning actor simply put a hat on his head as the lights dimmed and a one-word logo appeared on-screen: Blade.
Since that moment, anticipation has only grown, from original Blade actor Wesley Snipes offering his support for the project, to the exciting additions of Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre to the cast. Not even a baffling post-credit sequence to Eternals, in which Blade’s voice can be heard warning Dane Whitman against removing the Ebony Blade, could diminish the excitement.
However, some recent news might raise eyebrows, as director Bassam Tariq has stepped away from the project just weeks before filming was to begin. According to the Variety article reporting the move,...

Bassam Tariq has exited his role as director of Marvel Studios’ “Blade,” Variety has confirmed.
Tariq’s departure comes as a shock, as production was set to begin in November on Marvel’s upcoming feature about the iconic comic book vampire slayer. The film is set to star Mahershala Ali in the title role, alongside a cast that includes Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre.
Although he will no longer be helming “Blade,” sources close to the situation state that Tariq will remain attached to the project as an executive producer.
The filmmaker was first confirmed as the director of “Blade” in summer 2021. He had previously helmed 2020’s rap drama “Mogul Mowgli,” starring Riz Ahmed.
“It’s been an honor working with the wonderful folks at Marvel. We were able to put together a killer cast and crew. Eager to see where the next director takes the film,” Tariq said in a statement,...

This She-Hulk review contains spoilers.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 4
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has always adopted a, let’s say, irreverent tone. The precedent was established early on in 2008’s Iron Man. Using the film’s screenplay as more of a suggestion than a bible, Robert Downey Jr. and Jeff Bridges helped imbue the franchise with a wise-cracking, improvisational spirit that would carry on to just about every other film.
Still, even though most Marvel properties don’t let too many beats pass between jokes, none of them have ever fully bent towards outright cartoonish farce. That is, not until now with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Through four episodes, She-Hulk is truly like nothing else Marvel has ever produced, and perhaps that’s why it’s proven to be so divisive. Episode 1 established its heroine’s fourth wall-breaking abilities and since then the show has allowed itself to become goofier week after week,...

This Moon Knight article contains spoilers.
“Why else would we be in Cairo?” When Oscar Isaac asked that question in a viral TikTok video with director Mohamed Diab, it sparked hopes that a new season of Moon Knight was in the works. After all, since the first season ended its run in May, there has been no clear sign of what the future holds for Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Between the show’s lack of clear connection to the rest of the MCU and the single-season deal signed by Isaac, many wondered if the series would return for another go around at all. But while no official announcement has been made, the video — and Diab’s decision to share it with the header “Moonknight season 2?” — seems to indicate that Marc Spector and his many personalities could indeed return to television screens.
Sooooo Moon Knight Season 2 Or pic.

With the snap of a Kevin Feige’s finger, “Avengers: Endgame” might not have been the end of Chris Evans as Captain America.
Disney+ series “Moon Knight” was set to include a possible series of cameos, including Evans reprising his famed, decade-long role as Steven Rogers. “Moon Knight” writer Jeremy Slater revealed to Discussing Film that the Oscar Isaac-led Marvel installment was prime for other MCU appearances, but ultimately the series opted to stand more on its “own two feet” in the canon.
“There were definitely different times in the writing process where we talked about cameos because cameos are one of the most fun things to discuss in a writer’s room,” Slater said, reflecting on the series. “What happens if we try to get Chris Evans back as old Captain America? You know, you sit there and play that ‘what if’ game among your writers.”

A ‘Game of Thrones’ spin off focusing on Kit Harrington’s character of Jon Snow is currently in development at HBO.
“To the delight of Got fans across the world, Kit Harington is also attached to reprise his role in the live-action show, which would take place after the events of ‘Game of Thrones’ — potentially opening up what many thought was an iron-clad ending to the wildly popular series.” reported Variety.

A “Game of Thrones” spinoff series based around Jon Snow is in early development at HBO, Variety has confirmed.
Kit Harington is attached to reprise his role as the fan-favorite hero in the live-action show, which would take place after the events of “Game of Thrones” — potentially opening up what many thought was an iron-clad ending to the wildly popular series.
In the final season of “Game of Thrones,” Snow realized his true identity and that he could be an heir to the Iron Throne. The series concluded with his exile from Westeros as he rides into the Haunted Forest with Ghost and the Wildlings to begin a new life.
Since the potential Jon Snow sequel series would take place after the final season of “Game of Thrones,” it’s possible that familiar characters — such as his half-siblings Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) — could show their faces.

Some books you don’t need, you don’t even want, until someone thinks them up and you think ‘oh yes’. If that involves Conan the Barbarian front and centre on the cover then even better. We are, of course, talking about Savage Avengers. The first run of the book which recently ended had all the usual big guns, Wolverine, Punisher, Venom, etc, the usual anti-heroes you’d expect. It was great fun. Not Shakespeare, but great fun. So, why not double down on the concept and play around with both the group dynamics and the members of that group, leaving Conan front and centre again.

As Marvel Studios moves into their darker and more supernaturally-inclined Phase 4, Moon Knight has become the first character to test the water of fan reception. His Disney+ show, which wrapped its six-episode run earlier this month, divided audiences, many of whom were surprised to find that the series didn’t really connect to the wider MCU.
But since the finale dropped, the creators of the show have been talking about various ways they did try to insert various MCU characters, and in a new interview with Comicbook head writer Jeremy Slater has confirmed that Kit Harington’s Eternals character Dane Whitman was in the mix at one point.

"Moon Knight," Disney+'s latest Marvel series, left one big reveal for the very end of its sixth and final episode. A credits scene revealed what many fans had suspected during the show's run: that Moon Knight's dissociative identity disorder gave him another personality that Marc Spector and Steven Grant didn't know about.
During the credits, the show cuts to a scene of Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) in a mental hospital, much like the one that Marc (Oscar Isaac) finds himself in during episodes four and five. A mysterious man speaking Spanish appears and wheels Harrow away. He whistles a song as they exit the hospital, and Harrow notices dead bodies around them.
The man takes Harrow outside Sienkiewicz Psychiatric Hospital (named for "Moon Knight" comics artist Bill Sienkiewicz) and puts him in a white limousine. Also in the back of the limo? The Egyptian god Khonshu (F. Murray Abraham...

This review contains Moon Knight spoilers
It’s strange to be a Moon Knight fan watching Marvel’s Moon Knight. At several points throughout this series, there have been moments where I wished I wasn’t already aware of the potential twists and turns ahead. I went into this knowing that Marc Spector had Did, that he was the avatar of Khonshu, that he was at least partially responsible for the death of Abdullah El-Faouly, that he could wake up in a psychiatric hospital and have to come to terms with what “reality” really means, and that he would likely be hiding a much murkier third identity inside him: Jake Lockley. It’s all in the Moon Knight comics.
I thought, as someone tasked with reviewing these episodes, it would actually have paid dividends to be completely ignorant of Marc Spector’s story. After all, wouldn’t that have made the show more exciting?...

In celebration of "Eternals" arriving on Disney+ for the viewing pleasure of those who skipped the movie in theaters, Marvel is giving us the goodies. Yesterday, this came in the form of a dance-centric blooper reel. Today, it's a world-shattering deleted scene. You wouldn't expect many revelations to come from a cut clip that's literally titled "Small Talk," but prepare to be surprised.
This two-minute conversation lets us in on a very crucial secret ... "Eternals" could've had even more Kit Harrington than we thought! Oh, and something about dinosaurs, but we'll get to that...
The scene sees Lia McHugh's Sprite and Harrington's Dane Whitman strolling...

Fan-favorite Scott Pilgrim is back! This time as an anime adaptation headed to Netflix.
“Scott Pilgrim, which has been a beloved comic, a cult classic film, and an absolutely addictive video game, has now reached boss level with an upcoming anime adaptation. Netflix and UCP are adapting Bryan Lee O’Malley’s comic series, with O’Malley writing and executive producing alongside Ben-David Grabinski (Are You Afraid of the Dark? reboot).”

Eternals is now streaming on Disney+! Let’s revisit the film’s post-credits scene and what it may be setting up for the MCU ahead.
“The scene sees Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman come dangerously close to wielding his family’s famed Ebony Blade for the first time, only to be stopped by the voice of an unseen stranger. Fortunately, it was revealed shortly after Eternals’ theatrical release that the scene’s mystery character...

This feature contains spoilers for Marvel’s Eternals.
Eternals is now streaming on Disney+, and many people who missed seeing it on the big screen are finally getting a chance to check out what they might have heard is a rare misstep from Marvel Studios in the comfort of their own home. Meanwhile, others are wondering if Eternals is worth revisiting at all after struggling with it the first time.
I fall into a different category. I found Eternals pretty enjoyable and a welcome departure from your standard MCU installment, but was looking forward to seeing it again because I had a feeling that some of the film’s problems might be reduced after I’d had time to sit with its secrets, and I did indeed find that to be the case. Mostly.
There are things that still feel lackluster about Eternals and that probably won’t age as...

Disney/Marvel’s Eternals is landing on Disney+ 69 days after its Nov. 5 theatrical release that date being January 12, 2022.
That window is a notable size considering Disney’s experiment to crush theatrical down to a day-and-date model with Disney+ during the pandemic. Previously, Disney/Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings had a 71-day window before landing on Disney+. Disney previously rubbed Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson the wrong way in the aftermath of that film’s short-change at the B.O. given its simultaneous availability on Disney+; the actress suing the studio and ultimately reaching an amicable settlement.
The movie, directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao, was part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s further extension of its latest phase multiverse plot, however, in its Byzantine plotting fell short to wow fans who gave it the worst CinemaScore for a Disney/MCU title that being a B.
