Amy MacLean was born September 2000 in Connecticut to her parents Caryn and James MacLean. She is the youngest of three children. She lived there, in Connecticut, until 2015, when she moved to Virginia. There, she helped with a few ID Productions scripts and films, as well as helping and featuring in a DWD Productions television show. Not only that, but she participated in the production of a 7-minute film about Death with Dignity that was placed in the Student Cam competition sponsored by C-SPAN, and participated in the production of a video about inclusivity in her school, which won first place in the Unlocker Challenge, sponsored by Duralife. The school received $50,000 of Duralife lockers, as well as $7,500 of scholarship money. At the moment she is working on a film as editor with her fellow colleagues, Carter Bruck and Logan Winger, that will be entered in the Student Cam competition on January 20th.
