Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. This is the follow-up to last week’s New Year’s Evil special, so let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Apollo Crews & Axiom def. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Four of Nxt’s most athletic and dynamic Superstars faced off as Apollo Crews & Axiom joined forces to take on the team of Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams. Each Superstar showed off their scintillating offense with a number of acrobatic aerial moves and tandem offense on full display. Hayes had Crews down in the middle of the ring but as he went for Nothing But Net, but Crews countered it into a pinfall and earned the stunning win for his team.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Sol Ruca def. Alba Fyre The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. This is the first Nxt for 2023 so let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Carmelo Hayes def. Apollo Crews The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Carmelo Hayes has been on a mission to prove that he’s still the cream of the crop in Nxt, and a win over Apollo Crews further solidified his place in the pecking order. Both Superstars showed off their supreme skills with highly athletic aerial moves combined with grueling mat technician skills. Hayes was able to slow Crews down with a strategically placed leg kick on the apron, but Crews overcame it and put together an incredible string of combination offense, including a massive superplex. The two men traded big blows, but Hayes finally got Crews down on the mat long enough to hit his signature Nothing But Net leg drop...

Match #1: Wes Lee def. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt North American champion has had issues with The Don of Nxt Tony D’Angelo, and it gained a new chapter as Wes Lee battled D’Angelo’s right hand man, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. Before it even began the two men battled backstage and spilled into ringside before they finally got the match officially started. Lorenzo controlled the pace early on, working the champion over with his technical ground work as well as crushing backbreakers. Lee battled back in a big way, using his high-impact offense to stun Lorenzo. With momentum firmly on his side, Lee nailed Lorenzo with a backflipping kick to the head and pinned “Stacks” in the middle of the ring. After the match,...

Match #1: Roxanne Perez def. Indi Hartwell The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Former friends Roxanne Perez and Indi Hartwell battled it out on Nxt with Hartwell using her strength, power, and new mean attitude to take control over the smaller Perez. The agility of Perez allowed her to gain some momentum, as a big diving crossbody to the outside of the ring flipped the script. Before Hartwell could deliver the deciding blow with her brute force, Perez knocked her down to the mat, allowing her enough time to hit Pop Rox and seal the win.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Dijak def. Dante Chen The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, which has become more notorious for the R-Truth incident rather than anything else that happened on the show! With that in mind, let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Grayson Waller def. R-Truth The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
R-Truth was a few days off when he burst onto the Nxt scene hoping to be a part of the Halloween Havoc festivities last week, but the surprise appearance resulted in a match with Grayson Waller. R-Truth had the Nxt Performance Center jumping, but an awkward fall onto his knee outside the ring resulted in an injury that forced the match to be stopped. The injury didn’t stop the audacious Aussie from still gloating, as a hobbled R-Truth exited up the ramp.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Kiana James def. Thea Hail The following is courtesy of wwe.com:...

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, which is continuing the road back to black and gold! With that in mind, let’s get into the review…
Match #1: Bron Breakker def. Javier Bernal The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Javier Bernal’s mouth wrote a check that his big body had a hard time cashing against Bron Breakker. “Big Body Javy” tried to throw the first haymaker at the Nxt Champion, but Breakker hit his signature press and thunderous slam to put away Bernal. Breakker never took his eyes off Jd McDonagh throughout the match, and when Ilja Dragunov emerged all-out chaos erupted among the Halloween Havoc combatants.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Nathan Frazer def. Axiom The following is courtesy of wwe.com:

We can’t get back to reviewing any of WWE’s product without also checking out WWE Nxt 2.0, a show that hasn’t captured my attention as much as its previous incarnation did. Let’s see what this week’s episode has to offer!
Match #1: Nxt Tag Team Championship Match – The Creed Brothers def. Edris Enofé & Malik Blade The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In their first true title defense, Nxt Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers squared off with the rising duo of Edris Enofé & Malik Blade for a spirited competition. Julius & Brutus showed off their power, tossing the smaller pair around the ring, but Enofé & Blade held their own against the champions, stunning the Diamond Mine duo with a dropkick and a pop-up knee. Enofé thought he had the match put away with an elbow drop, but Brutus Creed fought through the pin attempt to tag in his brother Julius,...
