Ravi Joghee was born and grown up in the beautiful Mountain district Nilgiris, a haven for natives and tribes. He had a Master's degree in Statistics from the Loyola College and had completed his PG Diploma in Operations Research from the prestigious Anna University. He then moved onto feature film production with Ullaasam (1997) and then moved onto direction department starting from 1st Assistant Director to become a co-director working with director Balaji Sakthivel, Jd-Jery and Vasantha Balan on feature films Kaadhal (2004), Samurai (2002), Whistle (2003), Kalloori (2007).
Meanwhile he had written extensively for the online mag Indicpost and isai-arangam.com.
He had completed translating a book 'jalalabad' from English into Tamil. It is yet to be published.
He then started working on International shorts and documentaries with the French Director Ms.Murielle Beck and Ms.Patricia Micallef, from France 3 and on a feature script with the French Cinematographer Madhu Thiyagarajan.
He also had a short stint as Cinematographer for Ms.Pamela Nowicka's short film on animal welfare.
Then he met the well-known professor, film critic and writer Ms.Louise Burchill and started his treatment on a super-natural thriller called 'Three Dancing Women' that explores the three beautiful romances of three dancers from different eras spanning over 2000 years ago. It is being developed.
Meanwhile he continued to work on more than 100 TV commercials and documentaries with directors Jd-Jery for Jd jery's Media Park.
He is collaborating on a documentary film with the Beverly Andrews, a documentary film maker from London. They are in talks with the Oscar-winning cinematographer Mr.Miko Jaroszewicz for the same.
Then he has started his own feature film venture 'The Frog and The Arabian Princess' and is currently in the process of packaging this feature film for the International Audience.
