[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for the Dead To Me series finale.] Dead To Me‘s final season ends on an intentionally ambiguous note. Creator Liz Feldman said the uncertainty the Covid-19 pandemic made us feel informed the plot when writing the Netflix dramedy’s final episodes, explaining that life rarely gives us answers to its greatest questions. It’s part of what makes grief a lifelong experience with all of its ebbs and flows. Grief and ambiguity are at the forefront of the Dead To Me series finale, which sees Jen Harding (Christina Applegate) and Judy Hale’s (Linda Cardellini) story end on a heartbreaking but fitting note. In Dead To Me Season 3, Judy is diagnosed with late-stage cervical cancer. She undergoes chemotherapy throughout the season as she and Jen try to tie up loose ends connecting them to Steve Wood’s (James Marsden) murder. Jen also learns she’s pregnant with Ben Wood’s (also Marsden) baby.

The final glass of wine has been poured and everyone’s darkest secrets have (almost) been revealed — after three seasons, Netflix‘s Dead To Me has reached its official end. The Netflix dramedy, which burst into the scene in 2019 and quickly became beloved thanks to its sharp writing and chemistry between leads Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, aired its final season on November 17, finally revealing the ultimate endgame for the trauma-bound BFFs. So how did the show ride off into the sunset? While the police and the FBI continued to track down clues about Steve Wood (James Marsden)’s murder, Cardellini’s Judy Hale discovered that she was living with stage 4 cervical cancer — and that she was terminal. Meanwhile, Applegate’s Jen Harding discovered she was miraculously pregnant, with the father of the baby was none other than Steve’s twin brother Ben (also James Marsden), who confessed to his...

Back in 2020, the second season of Netflix's "Dead to Me" tied up a few loose ends while creating a handful of new ones. Sure, we found out how Steve Wood (James Marsden) really died, and the stop sign Jen (Christina Applegate) has been fighting to get placed in Laguna Beach is finally up, but the impulsive decisions of Jen and Judy (Linda Cardellini) have opened up several boxes of chaos that everyone will have to deal with in the next installment - which is coming very soon!
On Nov. 2, Netflix released the full trailer for the third and final season of the Liz Feldman dramedy, and it teases way more laughs and, of course, even more drama surrounding Steve's death. Ready to risk their lives one last time in the name of friendship, Jen and Judy try to dodge the FBI and a murder investigation, all after yet another hit and run.

“The truth’s gonna come out. It always does,” warns Detective Perez (Diana Maria Riva) in the trailer for the final season of Netflix’s “Dead to Me.” She’s addressing Christina Applegate’s Jen, who in the last episodes will continue to be ensnared in the murder investigation of Steve Wood (James Marsden). In its first two seasons, the dark comedy chronicled the fateful friendship and unfortunate connection between Jen and Linda Cardellini’s Judy, and in the last 10 episodes – which drop on Netflix on Nov. 17 – the duo seem closer and more deceitful than ever. Watch the “Dead to Me” final season trailer above.

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini have already been through the ringer in Netflix‘s comedy series Dead to Me, and viewers should expect nothing less from the third and final season.
In a new trailer released Wednesday, Applegate’s Jen wakes up in the hospital after she and Cardellini’s Judy were involved in a hit and run at the end of Season 2.
Almost immediately, they’re both forced to confront the fact that they’re covering up Steve’s (James Marsden) murder as the FBI take over the case from local authorities. As Jen’s son puts it, “Steve Wood is dead, and you look guilty as f—.”
But, if they have to become outlaws, at least they’ll be doing it together.
The final season of Dead to Me promises “shocking twists, unexpected turns, and the kind of laughter you can only share with your best friend,” according to Netflix.

The influence of “Into the Spider-Verse” continues to infiltrate the Hollywood mainstream, with DreamWorks’ latest heist comedy, “The Bad Guys,” following in the footsteps of “The Mitchells vs. The Machines,” “Luca,” and “Turning Red” to subvert CG animation with a handmade, illustrated look. First-time feature director Pierre Perifel definitely wanted to break through the “boring” with more stylization for his adaptation of the popular Scholastic book series by Aaron Blabey.
Perifel previously worked as an animator on “Kung Fu Panda 2” (which contained a 2D-animated sequence) and co-directed the DreamWorks short “Bilby” (which had some graphic touches). But after the handmade fur and felt vibe for the “Trolls” films, DreamWorks was ready to double down on 2D stylization for “The Bad Guys.”
Best described as “Zootopia” meets “Oceans 11,” “The Bad Guys” features a crew of animal outlaws attempting to go straight — until they’re framed for the heist of a rare meteorite.

Stoke-on-Trent filmmaker John Williams (no relation to the film composer of the same name) made his name, at least in the horror mainstream, with 2017’s Crispy’s Curse, despite having lensed The Mothertown and The Slayers before it. Now comes his latest film, Tales of the Creeping Death, a highly-anticipated low-budget horror anthology that aims to recapture the spirit of the anthologies of old from British studios such as Hammer and Amicus. Hell, the title even screams a homage to Tigon’s last British horror production The Creeping Flesh!

Netflix dramatic comedy Dead to Me doubled down on darkness in its second season. This is quite an achievement for a show that started out with a hit-and-run and a sham friendship formed at a grief support group between a widow and the woman who was driving the car.
Christina Applegate, who plays mother, widow and realtor Jen Harding, and Linda Cardellini, who plays driver, health care assistant and emotional pudding cup fan Judy Hale, are forced to face a whole new set of challenges after the death of James Marsden’s crooked Greek Mafia lawyer Steve Wood.
Firstly, the pair must figure out what to do with the dead body; then, they must avoid getting caught, deal with Wood’s twin brother Ben—who, in pure telenovela-style, is also played by Marsden—and work on recalibrating their own relationship.

[Warning: The following story contains spoilers about Season 2 of “Dead to Me.” Read at your own risk.]
In the first season finale of “Dead to Me,” James Marsden‘s character, Steve Wood, is killed and is last seen floating face down in Jen’s (Christina Applegate) pool, bleeding out. Rip Steve… right? Fans started theorizing that perhaps Steve isn’t dead when Marsden received his own title card in the Season 2 trailer or maybe he is dead and is just appearing in flashbacks. It’s the latter, but more. Steve is as dead as the day is long and does pop up in flashbacks, but Marsden lives on as a completely new character: Steve’s identical — excuse us, semi-identical — twin brother Ben. It’s a twist that could’ve gone wrong in so many ways, but it works because of Marsden’s first-rate performance that warrants a Best Comedy Supporting Actor Emmy nomination.

For the entire agonizingly long year following Dead to Me's initial Netflix debut, many fans - myself included - thought Steve Wood (James Marsden) was shot to death by Jen Harding (Christina Applegate). As it turns out, Executive Producer Liz Feldman had quite the crafty plot twist hiding up her sleeve, and Steve's real cause of death is slowly but surely revealed throughout season two. It's quite the doozy if I do say so myself.

This article contains spoilers for Dead to Me Seasons 1 and 2
When James Marsden’s abusive attorney Steve Wood met his fate at the end of Dead to Me‘s first season, the audience assumed that’d be the last they’d see of the character on the hit Netflix dramedy, but Season 2 had a surprise in store – Marsden was back as Steve’s softer, goofier twin brother, Ben. While Steve was enough of an overwhelming asshole to push a grieving Jen (Christina Applegate) over the edge, Ben had an entirely different and therapeutic effect on her, and the pair developed feelings for each other over the course of Season 2.
Marsden says that he originally signed on for just one season of the popular series, and admits that the sudden appearance of a semi-identical twin brother allowing an actor to return after their character’s death is a “classic soap opera trope,...

The Century City, Calif.-based firm’s initial client roster includes rock acts Godsmack, Hoobastank, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and Like A Storm. The two also co-manage supergroup Hollywood Vampires, which features Perry, Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper, with Shep Gordon.
