Mícheál O'Súilleabháin was a composer, known for It's Handy When People Don't Die (1980), Living the Tradition: an enchanting journey into old Irish airs (2014) and The Story of Ireland (2011). He was married to Helen Phelan and Nóirín Ní Riain. He died on 7 November 2018 in Limerick, Ireland.
