Jaime Ledesma gained mainstream
public attention as a radio disc jockey in New Haven, Connecticut.
Jaime Ledesma A.K.A. Jay Jay Styles as he is known the club world. Made
his DJ fame in New York, Connecticut and Miami. Born in Puerto Rico on
November 29, 1973, Jaime is the son of entrepreneurs parents Jaime and
Carmen Ledesma. A baseball player with an interest in acting, he
decided to follow the entertainment way and study Broadcasting at the
Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale. A class in acting
resulted in his being bitten by the acting bug. During the late 1980s
early 1990's he made a few TV appearances, most in television
commercials. Ledesma's big-screen career got off to a slower start,
however--his first role was a drug addicted felon in La Cura (1989).
Things looked better, however, when he produced, directed, and hosted
his top 5 videos of the week Ritmo Total (1999). Jaime does DJ
appearances in Orlando and Miami. He plans to return to radio in a
national Spanish language syndicated radio show. He is currently
directing his short film I'm Here (2014).
