Jon Watts, director of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, is producing the sixth film in the Final Destination franchise with Dianne McGunigle, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, and Craig Perry – and entertainment industry scooper Daniel Richtman just revealed the plot synopsis for the new film, along with some character descriptions and the title, which isn’t going to be Final Destination 6. This one is going by the title Final Destination: Bloodlines, which is kind of bummer because Bloodlines is a very over-used subtitle in the horror world. To name just a few, we’ve previously gotten Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines, Tremors 5: Bloodlines, and Pet Sematary: Bloodlines.
But there is good reason for the Bloodlines subtitle, because family bloodlines are important to the story. Jeffrey Reddick – who wrote the initial screenplay for the original Final Destination and contributed to Final Destination 2 – has previously said that...

Thirteen months ago, Jeffrey Reddick – who wrote the initial screenplay for the original Final Destination and contributed to Final Destination 2 – said that the upcoming sequel Final Destination 6 would shake up the formula of the franchise. Now Reddick has been asked by Collider to clarify what he meant by that… and while he had to tiptoe around spoilers while giving his answer, he did say that the film will be an interesting expansion of the Final Destination universe.
Reddick told Collider that “you can’t get away from the cheating death and death coming after you part of it because that’s what makes it a Final Destination film” but this one “doesn’t just kind of add another layer. Usually there’s a new layer every film where it’s like, ‘Oh, well, this can save you or this can save you.’ This film dives into it in such a unique way,...

The second installment of Freeform’s “Cruel Summer” centers on an unfolding mystery tied to a “ride or die” bond shared between two best friends — themes star Sadie Stanley was more than ready to tackle in the next phase of her acting career.
“I wanted to venture into something a little bit more mature, a little bit darker [with] a little bit more grit to it — something for me to have some fun with,” Stanley, who got her start playing Kim Possible in several live action adaptations of the Disney series, told TheWrap. “‘Somewhere in Queens’ was like that for me, too,” Stanley added, referring to Ray Romano’s recently released drama. “It was exactly what I was looking for.”

If you came of age in the aughts, you likely grew up watching a very specific set of cartoons -- ones that haven't yet gotten their big nostalgia moment alongside the "remember the '90s" crowd. After the "Kim Possible" era and before the "Phineas and Ferb" generation, shows like "Dave the Barbarian" and "American Dragon: Jake Long" briefly took over the Disney Channel with high-concept hi-jinks and lovable characters.
The latter series only lasted two seasons, but with talented voice and screen actor Dante Basco in the lead, a theme song covered by The Jonas Brothers, and a Chinese-American protagonist juggling everyday life with superpowers, "American Dragon: Jake Long" was impossible to forget. Over 15 years since the series drew to a close, /Film's Rafael Motamayor spoke with series creator Jeff Goode about bringing the story back to life. ‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’ Team on New York-Inspired Animation Style, Diversity in Marvel Series
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’s leading voice cast and producer team opened up about creating the world for one of Marvel’s first onscreen leading Black superheroines ahead of the show’s season two renewal announcement at New York Comic Con.
The news followed a nearly hour-long panel that featured voice stars Diamond White (Lunella/Moon Girl), Fred Tatasciore (Devil Dinosaur) and Gary Anthony Williams (Pops), as well as executive producer Steve Loter, supervising producer Rodney Clouden and producer Pilar Flynn. Later in the panel, and following footage of the show’s main title sequence, Grammy-winning musician Raphael Saadiq took the stage to discuss serving as the show’s executive music supervisor and composer.
“This group gives me a huge challenge,” Saadiq told the panel, noting that the show has been his “funnest” to score in his 10 years of composing. “You look at all the animation and you know...
