David Harry Rowlands
David's first attempt at a feature length script, buddy comedy Grooms, was selected as a semi-finalist at the 2013 Austin Film Festival. His quest to deliver a range of material resulted in another Austin Film Festival placement the following year (2014) with romantic comedy The Reunion. His burning desire to learn and develop across all genres resulted in yet another selection at the 2015 Austin Film Festival with a spec script for Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Aiming to capitalize on his raw talent, I penned my third feature length script, Oxycodone crime thriller Down to the Glades, culminating in the selection as a Finalist at the Page International Screenwriting Awards 2015 and the Sundance International Screenwriter's Lab 2016.
David's consistency at festivals resulted in the selection of his crime thriller TV series, The Duke, in the AMC Drama Awards at the New York Television Festival. Last year, he achieved his 5th consecutive year of selection at the 2017 Austin Film Festival.
