In a preemptive deal, Paramount has bought the feature pitch “Eternal” from writers Dan Frey and Russell Sommer, who previously teamed on the Black List script “Bleeding Kansas,” an individual with knowledge of the deal has told TheWrap. Mary Parent‘s Disruption Entertainment will produce “Eternal,” which is described as a grounded superhero story in the vein of “‘Chronicle’ meets ‘Highlander.'” Paramount had no comment on the deal.
